    • 32nd: Xavier Legette (WR)- B // Imo better options for Bryce (Ladd McConkey). I am scared by Mingo and TMJ.
    • Trade Back with Rams (2025 2nd, 46th overall, and additonal 5th for 39th overall) A+++
    • 46th: Brooks (RB)- B- // Zach Frazier was picked 6 spots later, We needed a Center more than a RB.
    • 72nd: Wallace (ILB)- C // Would have taken Cooper Beebe (G) //  Roman Wilson (WR) // Corum (RB) // Payton Wilson (LB) instead.
    • 101th: Sanders (TE)- A // Needed a pass catching TE, should be able to develop.
    • 157th: Smith-Wade (CB)- B+ // Liked the nickle corner pick, had mulitple interceptions at the Sr. Bowl.
    • 200th: Crumedy (DT)- B // Lots of experience at MS. Rotational player, PS.
    • 240th: Barrett (OLB)- B+ // Special teamer, PS. Needed some depth here.

Overall: I give it a B+ with the Rams trade. If Brooks makes it back healthy and Xavier has production. This could easily turn into one of the best drafts we ever had. Lot of boom or bust on this list.

Man I am optimistic was yelling give BY a chance late in the season and getting killed for it but WOW a B+! The 240th pick a B+? It would be great if Sanders was an A but that seems high.

I personally don't think they hit it out of the park but it was not Dans fault he had limitation without 1STRD. I hope you are right!

I'd agree, it ain't just us.

I would argue from an analytical stand point we got it right compared to the falcons. Last 5 years, Offense coordinator hires .542 winning %, Defense coordinators hired winning % .415, Rehires winning % is .489, combine that with Morris's 24-38 first go around may not be a good hire.

Dave Canales will be prove to be the coach we want, we need, and we deserve. I'm tired of being negative about my team...the losses on and off the field have taken a toll. Today is a new day, we have an opportunity to climb out of the funk and into the sunlight. Dave Canales took this job knowing it would be difficult at first, yet he took the job. Let's support him in his efforts until he proves he doesn't deserve it. Let's not cast negative thoughts or words his way because he is not accountable or responsible for the frustrations of our past. Stand tall, take a deep breath and KEEP POUNDING! It's what we do.

    I like it! Great post!

It could turn out to be good, but I definitely have concerns...

    - nobody else was pursuing him for a second interview that I saw

This! Also would bet there were no second interviews with other candidates because their agents said not interested. We are going to have to get lucky for this to work.

Not sure why people say this, it isn't true. Young defense with a star DL and star CB (when healthy) + a ton of cap space + super cheap QB who is a wild card and you aren't tied to if it doesn't work out. Each team has different things going for them (and against them), these are ours.

All your points are valid, sad part it would be a great job, if not for Tepper. A little concerned agents may contact Frank, as bad a job he did here, he is respected in the league. Combine that with videos of Tepper highjacking the Bryce draft pick press conference talking about Bryce as a point guard while Frank and Scott were over in the corner. Can you imagine a top notch coach thinking how much it had to suck sitting there in that situation.

  6. All this talk of coaches is great but none of it matters unless Tepper gets the GM part right. You cant make lemonade from oranges.

I think the hire is going to be something funky, during the interview Tepper has to be making it clear he wants Bryce developed I don't see how anyone with options agrees. Money can make someone say I agree.

I hope we get somebody good but for all the reasons mentioned somewhere in the thread we probably are not.

Fans keep asking why do these guys take the interview if they are not interested. If you are in the corporate world you know exactly why, it is a negotiating tool, it drives up your price.

The best thing Tepper can do is to tell any HC candidate that money is not an issue, he will supply any resources they might need for success, such as facilities, equipment, staff etc. I think those things resonate well.

Something every other team will tell him.

Do you guys think Tepper will let Ben Johnson leave the building if he wants Ben that badly?

I assume your making the point that because Tepper is rich he gets what he wants. What do you want him to do throw 25mil a year at him. Is that the coach we want?

I don’t think it’s the arm strength. It’s that he’s too easy to bring down. His small stride doesn’t allow him to make easy short yard pick ups.

That and his accuracy hasn’t shown up yet. He left some plays on the field today. He’s either  too quick to throw it away or he  holds the ball too long doesn’t let guys go get it.

He’s so committed to structure and having the wide open guy that it makes him predictable. Reich needs to tell him to let it rip. If he throws picks it’s fine. Just move the ball. We have to get aggressive.

Would be nice to open up the offense tell the kid take some chances the D has your back.

Anti-Brycers enjoy the huddle this week. Not a great game. Disappointed our coaches haven’t been able to scheme anybody open. Mingo looks uncomfortable catching passes. Not just the drop but even his big catch on the final drive he was bobbling. We just don’t have playmakers it’s going to  be rough for Bryce but he’s looked ok all things considered. Optimistic for the future, all you negative Nancy’s have fun whining I’m sure it’s very enjoyable to constantly whine.

Honestly I am not up for being an anti-Brycer and want to see more and always want to support the team good and bad but lets be honest he doesnt pass the eye test.

That was not a good read by Ridder... the reason the ball was tipped is because there was a man on the reciever there to force the tip. Even Falcons discord was angry at Ridder on that read.

Bengals sat the majority of their starters on both sides of the ball last night. What you saw... was preseason football.

Yea Atl way overreacting to that drive. Easy throw to TE forced tough catch, simple check down to the left forced a tough catch. I agree with you the Int was on him, he had no business throwing it, dude was covered.

They got him out of the pocket on 75% of the passing plays, because even Smith stated he is worried about him operating from the pocket. Its one thing to roll out on one preseason drive constantly and another to have to play a game were you have to throw from pocket.

I dont worry about Ridder at all.

  13. Dont start drinking because of this team because your going to be an alcoholic. The starting offense has been one of if not the worst in preseason. The defense got worked by the Giants.

It sucks but this is a 3 to 5 win team. It will start quickly when we loose to the falcons by 10+ points. At least we have the bucs. Prepare yourself looking at the schedule 1-5 or 0-6 is a reality.

Now to talk about owners failures...nah..another time.

Cam is a powerful personality and he has the ability to wield that power in different ways.

A powerful personality leads by example and inspires.........they don't go overboard showboating when successful and then towel head themselves pouting on the sidelines or in sulking in post game interviews when they fail........

Immature personalities do that.........and on a team sport they don't inspire......they cause division because the draw attention to themselves instead of focusing on the goal of the team.........

Bingo! We have a winner. I pointed this out last week giving examples and got my head bit off.

  15. As a famous person once said Iammmbaaacck! Some of you were ready to sign him to a 3 year extension....lol. But hey I was wrong I admit, I predicted it would take a month for the Cam wheels to fall off.

No way we can stick with this guy past this year, he is done! Terrible year to need a QB and to top it off the Saints will be looking too. We are going to find out real quick what Tepper is made of.

Cams head seems to be in right place now, if shoulder is good he needs be the QB for next 2-3 years while we smartly find the QB of future

God I love football fans! Isnt he the guy that took off his helmet to deliberately take a penalty to yell I ammm back. Isnt he the the guy that ran to the center of the field after a TD run, look at me! Loved him making it all about him during the introductions. Really enjoyed him pulling the ball out of CMs gut to take carrys away and leaving CM going what!

Can you imagine what some of the guys on the team that have been busting their butts for months maybe years for this team were thinking.

Cam has always been the guy that pats another guy on the head like PJ when he is making plays but will never reciprocate. He had a good game yesterday, but give this thing a month when we have played some real defenses that stop the run and his act is going to get real old real quick and you want him here for 3 more years...lol!
