Aren’t we always winning at half time? I don’t think we scored any points in qtr 3 …of 4 games.

Lol please dear god get Daley and Miller off the fuging field. Paradis too. fug Erving and Elflein too…wait they’re in injured n/m
-
The oline will always keep things close.
-
Unfortunately, measurable things like pressure, hurries, sacks and time to throw make you sound really fuging stupid.
-
The line is missing about 6 players including backups. 1 draft may be able to fix one. And let’s be real, Rhule ran the draft before it and said fug the line. Nah, could’ve done better.
-
It’s a shame the oline will not allow a 25 yard pass. Same instantly side stepped two people and had another coming straight on for the Robby throw. But yea, Marshal was on him 100%.

Hubbard won’t last if he doesn’t learn to catch.

Moton to start at LT, Christensen at RT
onmyown replied to Cary Kollins's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree on RT…but guard…meh. Maybe if his short arms are an issue but he’s athletic. Corse all we really have is college film vs poo teams to go by. But BYU oline program is top of the line. -
Not for 20m. That’s elite and consistent elite money (Luke, Wagner). Yea not his fault and all. But still need to be considered since they’ll have to do something about it unless you want to put basically all of the money that should be for the entire LB positions in one player who can’t do it on his own (like elites can) and continue to surround him with garbage, in an already thin position.

All I know if there is only one QB to go to a super bowl with a 20+ ranked oline and that was P Manning. Wilson doesn’t make the Panthers a instant super bowl contender unless that is fixed. It’s basically impossible. Forget metrics then, the eye test should clearly tell you there is no way in hell this oline can get any team, any qb, to a super bowl. Seems you’re confident to say Wilson makes the Panthers and instant super bowl contender based on the fact the oline will be fixed at least to a point. All I have to say is I’ll believe it when I see it. I see attempts and failure at this point. Very concerning, more so, then just ignoring it. New regimen, we will see…but again even in two years, one starter quality olineman seems a bit behind to me.
-
Which will be about the 3rd time a line below average, and mostly top 10 has gone to the super bowl in 30 years. So not only will bringing Wilson in bump the oline up 7+ spots, but the Panthers will also become that 4th team in history to do it? With Rhule in his instead of Carrol/Couglin? That’s what you meant? For me that’s a little far fetched…

Sam isn’t perfect but there is only one part of Darnold’s game that consistently holds him back, his deep ball placement. Or maybe it’s like 15/20+ yard passes. He has missed quite a few. Part of that is due to the oline of course but Sam has to get better at that. I’d add reading the field/decision making as well but I think that’ll get better with time and again, an oline. I think Sam does so bad when he has time because it’s unexpected. When he can see pressure and where it’s coming from he does better. This is a lopsided mentality but understandable after 3+ years of playing behind of of the worst in the league. Which will seem to continue. I think all this can get better but his long ball concerns me most. Time will tell.

Not with the 25th ranked oline in the league. It’s literally never happened.

Anyone else got a bad feeling about this Eagles game?
onmyown replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Impossible. That would imply someone knows better than the coaching staff. -

onmyown replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Fit said playoffs in regard to our schedule…but will find very quickly, they won’t belong there. I’m not worried about the Eagles or any game really. This is a rebuilding year, enjoy it for what it is. -

Unless Christianson is in, this is not what the huddle wanted. Probably includes Brown too. Personally I’m not really worried about the possibility of going from an F to an F-. -
McCaffrey says Thursday night game contributed to injury
onmyown replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
I love Thursday night football. It really feeds my itch to watch some NFL instead of waiting for Sunday. With that said I think he is 100% correct, and I think it would take minimum effort to put together a schedule where teams who play Thursday are both coming off a bye and don’t play the following Sunday. They may have to adjust and add a week or two, start earlier, go back to 16 games, or take away another of their money hungry worthless preseason games to make it work but it can be done. -
In reference to the big contracts at years’ end, if we were to a sign them all how much do you think they’ll cost/count against the cap? Shaq restructure incoming? Or we rollin with paying him 19 mil/yr or whatever it is for the rest of his contract/he’s cut? I know the Panthers have a bit of cap room but Moore and Sam are right around the corner (2023). Who knows if they or the Panthers might want to do something beforehand. Plus, need an oline which won’t be cheap.

Fitterer better be on the phone with the Packers.
onmyown replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
The man is a beast but I am extremely hesitant on big men and injuries. Especially being 30+. They just don’t heal. It’s why the Broncos let Paradis go and for some reason the Panthers gave him a really stupid amount of money. He’s has said himself last year his injury stiff affects his play. Would much rather the Panthers due their due dillgence and find that olineman they know will work out in the draft and trade around to make it happen. Or…if one so happens to come up in FA. Just need one stud olineman and a decent safety or LB next year will do wonders for future the team assuming either Christian or Brown turn out average. -
I think the schedule gives the Panthers a chance at playoffs. Not sure they would have one otherwise. The Panthers really struggle vs. solid teams. But that defense is good enough to be in, however there is no way the oline will allow deep playoffs, the Dallas game is a good example of what would happen after the WC rounds. Holes are getting fewer and fewer though, very bright future.

Fitterer has "called around" about offensive linemen
onmyown replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
not only olineman but back ups lol as I just said in another thread, least he’s trying before Sam ends up in the ER it is concerning they’re so stubborn and won’t even try Christianson without anything to lose. either it’s really dumb or he is looking otherworldly awful in practice -
Fit tryna trade for back ups lol…well least he’s trying before Darnold ends up in a hospital
