I'd be pretty shocked at this point. Look Tepper put his money where his mouth was. He promised to let the football guys do football stuff and he did. We passed on Fields, traded for Darnold and took Horn. I'm sure Tepper would be ecstatic if he could sell out every single Deshaun Watson Panther's jersey there ever was but given the legal ramifications, the potential for him to be out of the league for an extended time not to mention the massive amnt of draft capital the Texans are going to want makes me believe we aren't interested.

I mean the whole point of us trading for him was in the hope that a fresh start would kind of be just that? Him restarting his career as basically a 23 year old rookie with some experience to boot. I still don't agree with the decision to pass on fields but we at least have to see how he does on the field before outright calling it a failure

LT and QB where our season will begin and end with how solid those positions are. Otherwise I think we have the makings of a really good team. Unfortunately those are probably positions #3 and #1 in terms of importance for a good team

this was and still is my biggest gripe with Hurney and to an extent Gettleman. they believed too much in themselves. Smart GMs like Fitts know this is a guessing game and you have to increase your chances

While I agree that's probably the best short term solution IMO the best longterm solution is to leave Moton at RT and add a LT. This all gets back to my theory that the Panthers *really, really, really* wanted Sewell. A top flight CB is great, but we put a lot of chips in getting our top rated LT in the draft as we did nothing to address it in FA. I also believe the Panthers were a lot lower on Slater and Darrisaw than people think

I'm excited for our offense this year bc theoretically Moore, Anderson and Marshall are all threats on the outside and inside and all have the potential to take the top off a defense
