Seemed like the minor line shakeup helped a bit.

I wonder why there is not a two day break between games 2 and 3? Would make sense due to travel. Instead it is between games 3 and 4. Weird.

Love it when a team I follow proves this doomer wrong. Feels like we just got over a hurdle.

This team is so fuging pathetic.

I am not even going to bother watching games 3 or 4. I hate that there is a 2 day wait between games 3 and 4. Just fuging end it and get this farce over with. I can go enjoy a team that is actually dominating and forget the Canes exist for a few months.

And that is it. This team is such a definition of insanity. But we will be swept and nothing in the offseason will change because Rods system works. That is sarcasm. I am done. fug this fuging team.

Vegas has been extremely aggressive on the PK. They can feel a short handed goal coming.

Aho just falls down. He has a chance and just collapsed on the ice and HE KEEPS DOING IT. Also start Bussi in game 3. No reason not to if we don't win this game.

If we lose we should start Bussi. We are likely getting swept so I don't see any harm in trying SOMETHING different. Hart has become a wall.

Pretty much the Panthers series. They let us play our game and just capitalize on every mistake we make. Outplaying them and out shooting them and a dumbass defensive breakdown it is 1-0.

Very worried about tonight. Hope the boys can bring the fight. Can’t go down 0-2.

I have never been a fan of Freddy’s. I think he is a solid goalie but midnight will eventually strike with him in net. During the playoffs Freddy was helped a lot from our defense not allowing many SOG and puck luck. Any goalie only getting 10-14 shots against him is gonna look impressive on the stat sheet. We need to do something about the goalie in the off-season. But if history is any indication we won’t.

Game two will tell a lot. If we go down 0-2 that may be series.

At this point I am calm. I plan to at least watch the next game but I may just have the game on in the background if we go down 0-2. Rod hasn’t been the best at adjusting and I doubt there will be any adjusting for game 2. Rod just runs his system and hopes it works. If we lose I just hope we are not swept. That would be humiliating. To go 12-1 and get swept. Also saw a stat that Stanley Cup teams to go up 2-0 in the first period are 55-0. Vegas is the first team to come back and win. Let that sink in.

I haven’t given up but the way we lost is not encouraging. Seen that too often often these last 8 years and Vegas is big and physical like the Panthers are.

Slept a on it and I still don’t feel optimistic. I think this game may be the close one. Us being gifted 2 goals by Ehlers made the game look better than it was. After the first period Vegas dominated. Game wasn’t as close as the score said and counting only the normal goals we would have lost 5-2. It isn’t will Vegas score it is when. I don’t know what adjustments we can make. PP isn’t going to happen and the Aho line is going to suck. Both have been the same through the playoffs. We are going to have to win without them. Which is going to be very difficult against Vegas. I think there is a very real danger we will be swept. Rod needs to find something because if we lose game 2 it is over.

Vegas is a much, much better team then us. They are basically the Panthers. Having actual stars that are scoring threats will win you championships. We can't win shootouts. I think that was the best the Canes will play and the rest will be blowouts by Vegas.

Wouldn't be surprised if we get swept. Absolutely pathetic showing from everyone on that team. Defense was horrible. Freddy sucks. We can't win in a shootout. Vegas are exposing us big time. Our defense has been horrible. Without those 2 early goals it would be 5-2. We are in a lot of danger of being swept unless we find a way to stop the defensive breakdowns. Freddie has to be better.

If Vegas had not of gifted us those 2 goals it would be 4-1. Carolina is being completely outmatched.

It happens every game. You have to win by playing no matter what happens. No matter the non-calls. Happened when we faced the Panthers and also the Bruins. Once you are this deep you might as forget on getting a lot of penelties.
