Well then the GM that wrote it must be an absolute moron, right?
Yeah? It was a stupid fuging contract, I said it then, I'm saying it now.
It's weird how being objective is a sin in this shithole of a forum.
That contract along with Shaqs will be remembered as some of Tepper/Rhules worst moves early on. They're what needs to be done to rebuild the Panthers. Throw Hurney under a bus all you want, it's not changing the dumb moves that those two keep piling on. The Panthers should have bottomed out last year and had the 1-2nd pick in the draft along with 2 third comp picks + a 4/5 + 2 6ths, and a fuging load of cap space. Instead they're doing everything thing they can to shoot for 8-8.

Might as well make them untradeable.
Two ass contracts for players that aren't helping the team put up wins. Overpaid, overrated, stats players.

Bout to snag the next Norman or Hardy with one of those 6ths. This draft about to be lit. No more Hurn so who knows what the first will be but the rest should be awesome.
Did your dumbass just state that because Hurney isn't here we're going to be picking players in the 6th round like Hurney picked with Hardy and Norman in the 5th?

Matt Rhule is in his second year as head coach, but year one happened with Marty Hurney as GM. Reports said that Marty believed the team could win now rather than just rebuild, which possibly may have led to some of the reported clash between Marty and Rhule.
So with a new GM that shares Rhule's vision now in place, would it be more correct to consider this season year two of the rebuild, or is it really year one?
Oh that's interesting, because there's tons of videos with Rhule saying the team is built to compete now. I'm gonna need a source on the "reports" that Marty believed the team could win now.
Friendly reminder that Hurney wanted the best QB in the draft last year, and wanted to trade up, but Rhule let his OC get his guy.

We did under DG
Is that before or after Dave Gettleman traded away so many picks that the Panthers had the fewest drafted players in the league under his tenure?
Revisionist history is getting stronger.
Dave didn't value comp picks, he signed so many no name warm bodies every off-season to replace the players he cut that he barely added any.
