Penix being old is the oddest part to me. I could maybe get behind the move if they'd drafted an inexperienced 21-year-old who needed some time to learn. But they drafted a guy who was in college for six years and will be Chris Weinke age by the time he actually sees the field.

Moore deserves at least one year of really good QB play. He's mostly had trash in that department going all the way back to college.

The most important ability is availability. 

The Giants fans I know were all hoping they'd let Jones walk and I don't blame them. There's no way he's worth that kind of money. His career best season had him 15th in passing yards, 21st in passing TDs, and 14th in QB rating. 

I wouldn't be thrilled at the prospect of paying $40M a year for a QB whose best case scenario is middle of the road.

It's important to remember that minority coaches have to be on a team's staff for two full seasons for the comp pick to be awarded. If we lose both Brown and Evero after one season then that likely means the team had a really good year though. 

Jackson has only thrown for over 3,000 yards once in his career (2019). He's also missed five games in each of the last two seasons. Any team that trades for Jackson is taking a big gamble that his body will hold up and allow him to continue running like he has thus far. 

Levis is 23. That's a little old to still be so raw as a prospect.
