  1. Cam was not good in 2020. He was not good enough to beat out Mac Jones in 2021. He was a worse option than Teddy B last year. It sucks how fast he fell, I enjoyed watching him and having him on the team, but I am a Panthers fan. Not a Cam Newton fanboy. There was not a QB option that they liked after Lawrence and maybe Wilson. They did the legwork. They weren't interested. That would not have changed whether the QB was Cam or not in 2020. The team still would have been QB hunting in the FA or trade market.
  2. It's professional football, not the local country club. He hasn't earned some right to hang around and to eat a huge paycheck while sucking.
  3. Doing a bad job replacing him doesn't change the fact that Cam is toast. By the way, how are his numbers looking this year? Surely he's tearing it up to take a position like this.
  4. Cam's days as an effective QB were and are over. Get over it.
  5. Thank God we have a chance to see PJ suck even worse here so people will STFU about him.
  6. If true, it would be a mistake to pass on trading for Watson. At worst he’ll get suspended for 6-8 games. Nothing will ever be proven in court (mostly because it’s hard to prove lies and embellishments), and young franchise QBs don’t just grow on trees.
  7. So your opinion is that these women are all so stupid that they didn’t realize that Watson has all of the resources he could possibly need at his disposal to take care of any massage therapy needs, and instead needed to fly in unlicensed women from Instagram? He didn’t text all of them and apologize the next day. There were maybe a handful, of course, there’s no context as to WHAT he’s apologizing about or WHY. Then there’s the pesky detail that several of them came back for more. Like I said, these Instagram hoes don’t need people on the internet white knighting for them. Either they are amongst the absolute dumbest adults on the planet, or they knew what was up.
  8. All drafted by the same damn attorney. Who can put in complaint whatever he wants. You don’t think he had an interest in crafting a compelling, cohesive narrative?
  9. So you believe that since his body is his livelihood, he was flying in Instagram women from out of state who aren't licensed massage therapists solely to take care of the body that is worth literally hundred of millions to him over the next 10 years rather than using the licensed professionals available at or through Texans' headquarters? Come on, don't be so naive in your quest to white knight.
  10. Good point. Every allegation made by a plaintiff's attorney in his initial pleading should be presumptively deemed true.
  11. So your opinion is that these women were so stupid that they really believed an NFL QB who has access to all sorts of medical professionals for free through the team facility was flying them in from out-of-state just to give massages? Even though most (if not all) of them weren't even licensed professionals? I bet you are first on the waiting list for ocean front property in Arizona too.
  12. are the women "sexual predators" too for taking money for sex? or only Watson for paying for it?
  13. It's not assault if they knew what they were there for. He did set these all up on Instagram/social media from what I understand. That's the laughable part about it. It is exactly the scenario you describe, but the keyboard social justice warriors are always ready to hang somebody to prove they are white knights. Right. And we are to believe that they are so dumb that they believed a professional football player, who probably has access to a dozen of team-affiliated massage therapists at any given time, flew them from out of the state to give him a massage? Give me a break.
  14. All this over some Instagram prostitutes that knew exactly what they were doing? They don't need internet white knights to stick up for them.
  15. As for Watson, this team should absolutely trade for him. The way you protect yourself against suspension is pretty easy: conditional picks based on number of games played.
  16. Y'all should watch the games instead of the box scores. He's bad. He cannot test teams downfield. He is not good at going through progressions. Basically everything he does well comes off of one-read RPO plays. He looks significantly worse than Burrow and Herbert at the top of his class, that's for sure. Miami knows what they have in him, a dud. That's why they are aggressively but quietly trying to move off of him before everyone else figures it out too.
  17. He got beaten out easily, quickly by Brett Hundley (barely roster fodder) for the #2 QB job in Indy. Pass.
  18. He’s solid, but is he really worth trading a pick for a team with CMC and Chuba Hubbard? What’s his role, even with CMC out? And once he returns, he’s a likely gameday inactive.
  19. Harder? 6 of the next 7 games are against teams with losing records. It would be a terrible embarrassment if Carolina didn't win at least 4 of the next 7.
  20. What? Maybe if you don’t understand the difference between volume and efficiency.
  21. You mean he’s a bigger name than Freeman. He stinks, has for at least two years now.
