Ummm dude, yes it was. The ball never hit the ground. He can be on the ground and still gain control of the ball. Play isn't dead until the ball hits the turf or he gains possession and is touched down. He eventually locked the ball up while our guy was laying on top of him, ball never hits... Thus, it's a catch.

Incorrect. If you have not possessed the ball as you are lying out of bounds, it's incomplete. It does not have to hit the ground.

I actually feel like this is the opposite of a trap game if that makes sense... the team seems to have a different attitude right now to me.  Obviously some teams match up differently and all of that, but I see the defense coming out and tearing it up.

Yea, I agree. I don't really think this team is subject to the "trap game" this year. If we lose, it's because we didn't execute, not because we weren't prepared.

  3. He's told to spend...  What can possibly be the divide?  See, Wenger believes in only one valuation oh a player... His valuation.  He refuses to spend a penny more.

It's really not hard to get a manager to spend money. Wenger doesn't run the club. If the owners wanted Benzema so badly, he'd be an Arsenal player and Wenger can deal with it or fug off. There is more to the story than Wenger just doesn't want to spend money. Makes 0 sense. It isn't his money.

I think there are tons of overpriced cars on the market, but if someone told me they'd pay for it, I wouldn't give a fug.

  4. I think there is a lot more to the situation than Wenger not wanting to spend. It's not his fuging money, why the hell would he care to spend it? If you can't score and the owners/board have the cash, you buy a player. I think there is a lot more of a divide between Wenger and the owners than just Wenger doesn't want to spend money that isn't his.

  5. Lyon has told Alexandre Lacazette if he's not happy he should leave. Had a bad attitude in training and preseason and doesn't want to stay. Liverpool got their striker, so no chance there. Wenger isn't going to sign a guy with attitude problems, so Arsenal are probably out. Dzeko, Jovetic, and Negredo all leaving City means they could go in for him if he tries to push through a move.
