Milner & Ings improve our squad especially from a depth standpoint, both are quality. Neither will get us any closer to top 4 though,
This pretty much sums it up. Milner will be good from a leadership/experience standpoint to bridge the gap between Stevie and no Stevie. Ings is young and fine for depth purposes. But neither makes us a contender.

Rumors flying around that Ian Ayre is set to depart Liverpool.
This tells me that Rodgers had better win before Christmas.

One of the few players who would truly upgrade the attack. Would love this if it happened. Sounds like Man United wants Benzema.
Sergio Aguero is one of the best strikers in the world when he's healthy. Would be an amazing player at RM.

Liverpool are set to sign Adam Bogdan on a free. If that happens, our first three signings this summer will be frees. Two of which are from Championship sides.

Liverpool are apparently in talks with Arsenal about the possibility of swapping Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott for Raheem Sterling.
EDIT: Well, maybe not. Just read the source originated from ESPN.

this is gonna be one of our worst summers ever unless we somehow get Vietto. Milner, Ings and Benteke that is horrible
Apparently we value Benteke at £20m and Villa value him at £32m. I don't see an agreement happening there.
If we can get Milner, Ings, and Clyne for under £20m, I won't be too upset. Provided we switch our attention to striker and throw some serious wages at a good player.

Yea....I would love to pair him with Modric/Kroos.
Kroos and Veratti could hub the midfield for years. Could almost run a variable double pivot with those two.
-
L'Equipe is reporting that Marco Verratti is looking to join Madrid next season. Will be interesting to see who they target in the midfield.
Interesting. Could be a solid deep lying playmaker for years. Quite young.

Hell yes. Thank you.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he is taking time off football for a while.
Hopefully his time off lasts as long as the remainder of Rodgers tenure with Liverpool.

Lyon president has told Liverpool Lacazette will not move to Anfield due to lack of Champions League qualification. Scratch him off an already dwindling list of targets.

No way Real is going to pay 45m pounds for an attacker that is going to be no more than a super sub. Debatable if he's even better than Jese right now. Let alone Isco, James, Bale, CR7.
I don't think it's likely, but I do think it's possible. Sterling is only 20 years old and has a ton of potential. He is Rafa's boy and Rafa could use him well. Maybe not an instant impact guy, but within 2 years. Could ****** him up to prevent him going to Barca.

Rotoworld confirms that Arsenal is planning on triggering Porto striker Jackson Martinez release clause. His release clause is £24m.
Rotoworld also confirms that Arsenal contacted Galatasaray about availability of Muslera.
Wenger is going hard after South American players...
Jackson Martinez is class. Porto fuged themselves with such a low buyout for him.

Italian reporter saying Rafa's first target is Raheem Sterling.....
fug me...
Makes sense. Rafa brought Sterling to Liverpool.
All I ask is that you guys overpay, please.

Rumours about Liverpool and Klopp... Rodgers may be on the hot seat.
I think Liverpool are contacting a few managers at the moment. They will replace Rodgers only if they can find a world class manager to step in. Ancelotti apparently says he plans on taking a year off. Now, I'm sure that's just his polite way of saying he's not interested, but I think it shows Liverpool are looking at replacements.

Biggest story in soccer history and no thread about it?
This is neither the biggest story in soccer history or actually news at all. It is one step in the right direction. Unless this somehow brings down basically every member of FIFA, including Blatter, it will remain business as usual with FIFA.

Lacazette pleaseeeeeee. I would pay 40 million for him if we sell Sterling
Seriously yes plz
-
Liverpool need speedy striker, similar to Diego Costa type.
Yea, we need a fast, physical presence up top who can create for himself as well as those around him. I've never been overly impressed with Mandzukic, but I wouldn't be too arsed if we signed him.

Also, your soccer knowledge is terrible. Aside from posting poo load of twits and articles from questionable sources, you contribute no personal opinion to any discussions. Add your personal opinion, get involved in forum discussion with other members, don't just spam articles.
Do the right thing.
He did call us glory hunting Americans and then like two sentences later admit to cheering for 3 of the world's biggest clubs at various points in his life.

Sterling's agent told the Evening Standard: “He is definitely not signing. He’s not signing for £700, £800, £900 thousand a week. He is not signing."
He said Sterling would not move to Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich, and suggested Chelsea or Manchester City were the most likely destinations. He added: “Every Premier League club will make a bid for him.”
Sterling, who was booed as he collected the club’s Young Player of the Year award this week , is rapidly falling out of favour with Liverpool fans, with one apparently kicking his car as he drove away from Liverpool’s training ground yesterday.
respected former player Jamie Carragher told Sterling to “keep your mouth shut” and “get on with playing football”.
Sterling's agent replied:
“Carragher is a knob. Everybody knows it. Any of the criticism from current pundits or ex-Liverpool players - none of them things matter to me. It is not relevant.”
Seriously? Scroll up two posts.

If he really said that...:
Apparently he's said somewhere that those aren't his words. I dunno.
If he did say that, Sterling has to wake up and realize he's being handled by a c*nt.

Man, Arsenal really seemed to lose interest down the stretch this season.

Dang... Looks like Liverpool better off trading player for player or selling to domestic team. QPR is smiling right now.
I hate sell-on clauses. Why the fug would we agree to a 25% sell-on clause with a 15 year-old?
-
Raheem Sterling reportedly has a sell-on clause from his original transfer from QPR in 2010. We'd owe QPR 20% if we sell to a domestic club and 25% if we sell abroad.

Liverpool have rejected Man City's £30m offer for Raheem Sterling. City set to increase bid to £40m in the next few days. Liverpool expected to reject that as well. City will need to pay £50m.
