If he completes 1 pass,he needs to be benched Because a good Sam Darnold this year, means Zach Wilson next year

This makes me worried, if he shows any sign of improvement, pull him immediately, he could ruin the tank

I think he is just itching to publicly bury the Panthers, and will blame the system for his failure And part of it will be sour grapes, but will have elements of truth

Not surprising its 2 teams that already have franchise QBs in place, finding a reliable QB right now is a nightmare and you have to bet on reclamation projects or tank for one in the draft , it's so bad that people want Ghost Boy back in Carolina I think he may have been considering us untill Baker didn't work out, we are still a cart without a horse

And The Bucs are so much better without him aren't they , the same Bucs that couldn't score a TD against us

Wilks has already proven he is not permanent head coaching material He is good has a bandaid to keep things from falling completely apart , but we need a long term solution, and Wilks ain't it

And we are not far removed from the Canes being right there with them, it got really bad, we were sort like the Panthers are now, aging washed up vets and a no man's land for decent Free Agents , but we got sold, to a serios ownerand started building through the draft, and got lucky with generational talent like Aho,and Scechnekov , now we are a perennial playoff team , and in the Cup conversion every year I wish Mike Dundon would buy the Panthers off of tepper, then things might change

I just want to add, on the called back TD run, it seems like they waited untill he broke away before they threw the flag, which is a sign that he didn't really have to throw it , but when he saw it was going to be a TD , he threw it Still doesn't excuse piss-poor defensive play and coaching, other teams stomp GT, but every single year against the heels, they all of a sudden have Falcons Michael Vick and Barry Sanders on their Team , it would be so infuriating if it wasn't so depressing I wish they would go be with there big brother UGA in the SEC

I think he is a good QB, just playing in a hopeless situation, but we have too much dead money in the QB room , we can't afford to sell the farm again for another QB that might not work out , like some have already posted in this thread we should look for our future in the draft Unless KC will take Darnold and Mayfield , for Mahommes and 3 1st round picks , but this isn't Madden so probably not unless there GM was high

National announcers never show respect to Carolina teams, in college or the NFL The NFL flat out told Richardson Charlotte will never host a superbowl, and I suspect it's not a coincidence that the officiating always goes against us anytime we get close to a superbowl It's part of being a Carolina fan, the world is against you

Woo-hoo, we squeaked by an equally horrible team, virtually killing our draft position , and you are celebrating like we just won the damn superbowl , barely beating Atlanta is not improving, we still get blown out by good teams, and Young or Stroud atleast was a chance at improving our worst position, a better chance than rehabbing another failed QB of another team I will bring up this thread when we finish with 4 wins and no Qb, again again and again But yay, let's celebrate eternal mediocrity and wonder why we are not respected has a fan base SMFH!!!
