  1. He'll be good, but he'll have to be ok with coming in second year after year. I like him, but this division will belong to Cam and the Panthers for the next several seasons. Our defense will be able to handle him.
  2. I wanna see Lebron get another ring. Curry and Thompson...fug those light brites lol
  3. Cavs might lose game 4 on purpose, and avoid sweeping the Hawks, just to give Kyrie a little more time to get healthy. Lebron is amazing. His stat line from last night is crazy! He's going to carry his team to a possible sweep over the #1 seed.
  4. Saw somewhere online that JR Smith is hitting close to 50% of his shots while contested, and 27% when left open. He's on fire during these playoffs. Gotta leave him open, I guess.
  5. That organ player for the Hawks is the GOAT. Playing all my Outkast favorites in the arena. Hawks with a strong first quarter.
  6. I think the Hawks win in 6. I think Carroll keeps Lebron in check, and Korver gets his shot back. Regardless of the outcome, I think this will be a better series than most believe.
  7. Smh, Clippers choked and CP0 let the Tre down. Blake Griffin looked scared the last few games.
  8. Anybody catch the AI documentary yesterday? I heard it was pretty good, and went into great detail about his life. Iverson was one of my favorite players growing up. I can remember growing up and hooping at Winston Lake, trying to juke and shake people out of their shoes just like AI. Hell, everyone I know back then was.
  9. Hopefully, the Clippers win game 7 tomorrow. Raleighs out with Wall, but Winston is still in there!
  10. Yea!!! You can catch me in the AAaaaaa! Catching a game in the ECF! That boy Pierce is the truth but it wasn't meant to be.
  11. John Wall was pretty excited to be back last game. Even slipped up and was throwing up gangs there for a minute.
  12. Hopefully, the Hawks close out the Wiz tonight. They're not even my team, but since I'm in the area, I'd like to go to a few ECF games.
  13. If Houston advances, GS or Mem beats them in 5.
  14. First game I ever attended was a game in New Orleans where David Carr came in and we won the game. Thats my favorite game. I remember walking into the stadium and all the fans giving me hell for wearing my Panthers jersey. Ironically, it was a Smith jersey and like Smith I was a little fireball back then so I loved the hate I was receiving. My friends were all scary talking about I shouldn't wear the jersey, but I was like fug that. I'm in the dome and in front of me is this sloppy drunk lady, and me and her are going back and forth all game. Some epic trash talk. I could tell her husband didn't like the fact that I was talking trash to his wife, but I knew he was scared of me so he didn't say sht. Plus, she started it. When Kasay hit the game winning fg, it was crazy. Me and the other panther fans there were celebrating, and that lady tried to leave quietly, so I let her go. All I did was pop my jersey. Funnest game I've ever been to, and my favorite. The walk back to my car was great. I want to go to Philly or Oakland next with my jersey. Heard those are some hostile cities for opposing fans.
  15. I'm one. Didn't start watching football until 2001, and that's the season we went 1-15. I was 11 or 12 years old at the time. I just remember back in Middle School everyone used to clown and pick on the Panthers, so I felt it was my duty to stand up for them; especially since it was the hometown team. There suckiness that year drove me to start watching them lol. 2003 was probably the best year for me, school wise. After going through that 1-15 season, to see them make the Super Bowl was magical. Even though we lost, I talked sht that whole year. My uncle bought me a Deshaun Foster jersey and I swear I rocked that thing once a week and anytime I was on the block playing with my boys. I still have that Foster jersey; in fact, I've got it framed and its hanging up in my office. It gets a lot of these Georgia folks I work with riled up. It's been a long time, but I think my hometown of Winston is finally a Panthers city. I went back home during the playoffs, and everyone in Hanes Mall had on a panthers jersey.
  16. The truth with that clutch 3. Was supposed to be the game winner but Horford said nope. Hawks!
  17. I don't think they've won a ring at all. My bad on that one. I really should've put Lebron instead of the Cavs.
  18. Has Smith ever said this? You do know, nobody is perfect right? There's guys on here...probably guys on here that you respect...who claim to be Christian, yet do things like belittle and talk down to other posters all the time. Nobody is perfect, and I don't think Smith has ever said he was. Him washing another mans feet had nothing to do with him wanting people to think of him as a "Wide Receiver Jesus". He was just humbling himself. Anyways, Happy Birthday Smitty. 36 and the little guy is still out there doing his thing.
  19. I'm probably the only dude from NC that doesn't like Steph. Fug him and Green lol. I don't hate the Warriors. I'm still salty they swept the Pelicans. They've actually had an amazing season, and it would be great to see someone other than the Cavs, Celtics, Lakers, and Spurs win the title. I just want Memphis to win the whole thing. Vince Carter deserves a ring.
  20. Hoping the Bulls pull it out tonight, and the Clipset goes ahead and puts the rockets out of their misery. Been a great second round. What would make this round even better is if the Cavs and Warriors are eliminated.
  21. Pelicans let coach Monty Williams go. Heard they're going after Bulls coach Thibs when he's eventually let go this offseason.
  22. Saw Bruschi talking about this on air the other day. He was caping hard for the Pats, and it was clear he's too biased to even speak on the situation.
  23. Smh that line is stacked! Plus they've addresses their defense, and they have one of the top wideouts in the game. If that team doesn't make it to atleast the NFC title game, then that's a major disappointment. I'm betting they'll make it, though. The Cowboys owner is serious about winning this year and in the future.
  24. Jerry Jones is the man. That team is being built well. Sucks we didn't land Collins, but I knew from the getgo we weren't going to land him.
