I think it will actually get worse when we go against teams that have a good passing game. We knew the browns were one dimensional and still couldnt stop the run. Brady/ Fournette are gonna have their way with this defense.
I don't think so, Browns run game and scheme is top class in the league

Is there a worse qb on the schedule then Brissette?
Mariota, Trubisky, Geno, Goff are down there

The 8th pick in the draft from a few years ago needs to start pulling his weight. We should not be getting manhandled after spending a top ten pick on a defensive tackle. Browns a bust.
Feel for Derrick a little bit, his play has certain disappointed at times but he should have never been selected that high. DT without a pass rush skillset is never a top 10-15 pick. I still like him though and hopefully he gets better.

In my pre-game prognostication, I said we've got to stop Chubb. Chubb abused our D. Next week Barkley. The struggle is real.
Thick thigh dudes like them are the worst to tackle

it was an issue last year. it's an issue this year.
we don't do well against power teams. we were built for speed (college).
I agree with this

it's the toughest matchup until Barkley next week.
My fantasy team will certainly benefit from it

That's the best running attack we'll see all year, strength vs weakness was always going to be a tough matchup.

Would rather just see coaches make some adjustments, also that's the best run offense we'll see all year.

I think Rhule is getting this entire season no matter what so if and when the axe comes it'll be on Bloody Monday with all the other firings.

On the balance of an entire season? No. Maybe a few plays here and there that are a piece to the puzzle of winning a few games though. They're just raving about his running style and run blocking, so he'll likely be a strict gadget player and I'm not sure how successful he'll be with them.

No, he's bottom 5 though.

Wow, season needs to start for the sake of this board

That was good, now can we get to week 1?

Harold Landry tore his ACL.... brutal. Imagine if Brian Burns did that this week, would alter expectations a bit for us.

Honestly, I've been keeping pretty quiet on the whole thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if Corral is done.
Like, his chances of becoming anything as a QB in the NFL are next to 0 now. He came in with tools that translate well but his brain needed to be rewired through reps and practice. He was already coming in slightly rusty due to the high ankle sprain at the end of the season, and then when he got to TC he received next to no reps. Then he got thrown out into the preseason, looked like he hadn't played any actual football in 6+ months, and broke his foot. Now he won't be able to actually practice what he is learning in the classroom and getting up to NFL speed. He is on ice for the entire year.
The one thing he needed was practice and he can't get it. I would not be surprised to see him not even make it to the end of his rookie deal anymore.
It's amazing and a bit sad how quickly my hopes for him turned from promise to this as you laid out. On top of that just continues his injury prone tag that is hard to shake. But it ain't over yet.

Kenny Robinson is a glutton for punishment - this coaching staff clearly doesn't fancy him yet he keeps hanging around.

M. Jordan, PJ, Eflien and Erving seem to be the only guys with no upside. I think you have to keep those guys for continuity. You would bring in a guy with similar or equal number faults anyway so as a team it would likely be a net loss
Agreed, backup offensive lineman never have upside and always have a negative that teams will attack. Lack of O line talent in the league pretty much creates this in my opinion.

NGL, I feel like that was the least suspenseful final cuts ever (after the trades). Pretty much exactly what most of us suspected would happen across the board.
Yeah while it's easily the best roster Rhule has ever had, the bottom of it is pretty cut and dry too.
