Players play. It’s always talent over coaching when it’s that black and white of a question. But obviously there’s a ton of nuance to that.

Source? Or just made up? We won a crucial matchup vs Washington late in the season didn't we that put us one spot behind the Chargers. That's sick.

Look category by category. I'm just warning you, it's ugly. If you're trying to cling to hope don't click.
Im embarrassed for whoever created that passer rating statistic when I look at this list.

Whew he really does think he's one of the best in the league, bought a little too much into his own hype and everyone in the building has enabled it. Shame shame shame another L for Fitt.

Panthers players said Young’s problem wasn’t failing to recognize blitzes, although Wonnum believes the Vikings’ interior pressure affected Young’s field vision. “He really couldn’t step up and see what was going on,” Wonnum said. “Having those guys allowed us to work on the edge, and Harrison and all of us were able to make big plays.”
This is a problem and limitation
We basically need all pro guards and center for this operation to work with Bryce. That is what allowed Brees to be so good.

Not surprised to hear about Bryce "kill" plays at the line of scrimmage against a Brian Flores defense. He's always going to bring the heat come hell or high water.

I agree with all of this, I'm not mad at Bryce, but at everyone in the Panthers front office and coaching staff that fed us all this poo about him this offseason before we got to actually watch it on NFL Sundays. But your point about his size in #2 ain't changing no matter how you slice it and that is worrying me. Yeah sure if he was taller maybe he'd have a longer leash but he isn't, he's small out there point blank period. Propensity to go down easily when touched by a D Line, not stepping up into the pocket (size thing? Unsure.), not the biggest arm, etc. etc. etc.
But this coaching staff and front office has utterly failed him so far.

Honestly he’s probably pissed that he’s the #1 pick on a loser franchise with a loser head coach who dials up a screen on 3rd and 7 to TMJ who immediately loses his footing because we’re a clown show. He’s just got to be super frustrated and slowly learning how difficult the nfl is and how hard it is to perform and how he simply just can’t get away with what he’s been able to do his entire life. He low key probably absolutely hates his situation here and who wouldn’t? We’re awful.

If I hear any more references to Peyton’s rookie season my head is going to explode.

I wasnt around much doing the off season but it must have been toxic. I cant remember the last time at fanbase turned on a #1 pick so fast.
Usually no matter how bad a player is, a fanbase would bend over backwards to justify the pick. The Jamarcus Russell's and Zach Wilsons of the world still had the advocates after a year of play and people are giving up on Bryce after 3 games??
My assumption is this is mostly due to heavy debate in terms of who the QB should have been in the first place, but now that he's here I dont understand why some are waving the white flag after 80 NFL throws.
We’ve just seen nothing exciting from Bryce on top of the fact that we gave up assets to get this guy. It’s really because it’s incredibly immediately obvious that we don’t have much to cling to because there’s nothing to cling to with Bryce right now. Lump that with an awful football team and you get this.

good route but an absolute dot of a throw.
Love that drop back, climbs the pocket, quick release and accurate with power. Well done

No not really and it’s depressing

He is complete gutter trash and already just about out of the league

I think the trick here is you kind of don’t do anything. We’ve been circling the drain so hard for a few years while also shedding draft picks and assets in a poor manner that we are stuck being very bad for a few more seasons. On top of that we have hired a bad head coach and odds are the wrong qb too. You kind of have to eat this for the season.
-
He’s awful and the product we are seeing on sundays is an operational failure that starts with him. All of my Colts relatives said he’s incredibly boring, unimaginative, lame head coach who calls plays like he’s in the 90’s. That’s all turned out to be true, it’s so incredibly obvious that the big fix is to let Brown call the plays. But of course we’ll drag our feet on this forever until Dan interest is deader than dead.

That was bad. But also he did force him to go around outside but for some reason Bryce took a 5 step drop out of shotgun and then didn’t step up into the absolutely massive pocket in front of him which allowed him to get sacked.
-
Pay Brown 100%
-
Jackson's contract is fine, he's good enough to pay because of the speed but he just gets hurt and has some head scratching plays here and there. Just have to deal with it.
-
Ekwonu is incredibly worrying so far this season, such a disappointment how big of a step back him and the entire line have taken. Derrick Brown continues to be my shining star of this team.

I think BY isn't ready either. He needs to bulk up some and get acclimated to the NFL. I honestly think he should sit the season out. It's def not gonna hurt him. He looked like a child out there the first 2 games. Either way I sorta feel like this experiment is gonna fail, so I'm not sure it matters.
He's always going to look like a child out there, more than likely we took the wrong guy but that's just the math speaking. Most QBs don't work out, simple as. He needs to play, we need the answers sooner rather than later so we can make the next steps as necessary.

Ok all we need to do is get the fastest Hall of Fame receiver currently in the league, one of the best offensive minds in the league at head coach, and then hope Bryce turns out to at least be as good as Tua (he definitely can be). Lol we have no shot at this and comparing us to the Dolphins is basically comparing different sports at this point.

Trial by fire, I feel for him but it’s good learning experience. Hopefully he grows from this.
