Good hire all things considered.

Honestly happy to have an OC with NFL experience and success at it too. Don't know how much he'll be able to do but hoping for the best.

Wait.... I missed this. When was the first interview? This would actually be a decent hire.

Would rather draft Pickett at 7 than get Cousins since I feel like he can be that level QB. Roster in no position to be giving up any more future assets.

Level of competition, success, accolades, hand size.... other than that a lot of similarities

Christensen got bullied whenever a DE bullrushed him at LT.
Y'all joke about those short arms not being a factor, but NFL DEs can get into his body and just manhandle him. He CAN play there, but it's never going to be pretty / dominant.
Whether he can be a finesse LG is another matter. Either way he's not nailed down a spot for 2022.
Oldy! Hope all is well and I see you've migrated here from another site as well same with me.

I want Linderbaum as well. Out of curiosity, where do the “analytics” say you should pick a Center?
Analytics say not in the first round basically, similar to how you should view drafting a DT or RB, it's just not a valuable enough position to draft that early. If you do draft someone in the first round at DT or C they better be absolutely incredible game changing type guys. So for DT someone who can both command double teams and hold their own while also possessing ability to rush the passer (Aaron Donald, maybe Vita Vea). Won't say I know exactly what that means for a C but I don't think that drafting a C at 7 is wise... but we are still so talent deficient on this roster that I'm not sure it would even bother me. But anyways, should be going for QB or LT at that draft spot.

Incredible how awful Rhule is speaking publicly, just so incompetent.

Yeah this is nothing, didn't actually say anything about the QBs at all

They thought that their patchwork job on O line was going to be enough to suffice and then the performance was so bad that they had to make it no1 priority.

Would actually be a decent hire

He's got the worst case of happy feet in the pocket I've ever seen from a Panthers QB. Consistently bails on clean pockets and makes life worse for everyone involved. Bright side is this guy will likely lead to a top 5 pick next year and Rhule's firing next season.

Kenny Pickett come on down

I would happily take Brian Flores in Carolina to replace Rhule, no idea why Miami would do that.

Why hasn’t anyone suggested we Fire Rhule and let Snow take a shot? He’s the closest thing to a success we’ve had on the sidelines?
Pretty sure he's on record saying he does not want to be a head coach, I could be wrong though.

If we keep him yes, and his name is Kenny Pickett

This roster still isn't good enough, we have no reason to be trading away jimmies and joes to other teams. Would much rather trade back in the draft to accumulate more picks without sacrificing bodies and thus giving us more chances to get some contributors on NFL Sundays.
-
It was always going to end this way after the contract we gave him. RBs never see the end of their big paydays, we will likely not get an offer that suits our needs due to his cap hit and then we'll have to release him at some point. Friggin sucks, I'd rather keep the guy and hope it works itself out but he suddenly can't stay healthy now either.

Pickett should definitely be the pick at 6 I think if they go QB. He passes the Parcells benchmark, has shown improvement year over year, and is a good player. If he can be a Kirk Cousins level QB then that's great for us.
'20 Cam vs. '21 Garoppolo (and '19) (+ a Darnold tidbit)

And what do your eyes say?
In the words of Aqib Talib, "People that dry hump stats to make a point probably prefer reading sheet music to hearing the song."
Cam is sadly done as an NFL starter in this league, period.
