Reality. We're terrible. We've been terrible for years. Winning a terrible division and getting our teeth kicked in by whichever team doesn't win the NFC East while costing ourselves 10 spots of draft position per round would honestly be the worst case scenario.

Actually the worst case scenario is to continue down this path of destruction...heal my child PJ your savior... don't become a Judas'

Winning 5 or 6 games this season would only hurt us going forward. Which is why I’m all in the on the tank. This season is lost. Unless you are so blinded by homerism you think PJ Walker can actually lead us to the playoffs.

The PJ hype crew is just as bad as the Kyle Allen hype crew.

Or the Darnold crew.. Baker crew...Gier crew...Teddy two gloves crew...

    Only difference between them...

    PJ has a winning record....

Playoff run and Wilkes gets the full-time gig. That's my first choice. I just want to win. I want this team to shock the world.

I don't see that happening, but I'd like this team to have a good bit of fight in it to look good for a perspective coach. (No playoff run and we're looking for a new coach). I think we can still find our franchise QB and him not be a top 5 pick.

I'm just tired of losing. I mean that's still what I expect, but I'm tired of it. Last Sunday reminded me of what that felt like. I hadn't felt it in a while and I want more.

I'm so happy PJ made you feel again

So for all the anti tankers out there.. I will say this. Do you firmly believe that even if we somehow win and make the playoffs this year, that Wilks is the guy to be our next full time head coach and be that guy to get us to the promised land or the very least, a consistent year in and year our playoff team?!

This question is really important because us winning several games doesn’t mean we lose a top 3 pick, but it also means Wilks is staying. Before you think otherwise, do you truly think Tepper will fire Wilks if he somehow has a winning record in the current environment?!?

So again I ask, is Wilks that perennial playoff type head coach?!? Because if we win this year, he stays. I will be honest, looking around the league at the top elite teams right now, what do a majority of them have in common?! Young offensive minded head coaches.

Out of ALL the teams with a winning record right now, all but two have young, offensive minded head coaches while only two (the Jets and Bills) have defensive minded head coaches.

I see Wilks and I see a good leader of men but I look at his age and tendencies and I see flashbacks of Riverboat Ron or John Fox (that last game where we had all three time outs before the half with 2 mins left and just let the clock go down to half time) and I think Wilks ceiling is Fox/Rivera. Some bad seasons, one great season and a lot of mixed seasons and I do not want to go in that direction.

You talking about the only two coaches who got us to the promise land correct...

And you know the smartest way to beat the trend...find a younger defensive mind coach...Wilks ol school but still hip enuff for the new school.

What's the goal at end of the day, to win.

He builds us into winners you can't let him go, or you leave Tepper to go find the next Joe Brady for HC

  6. Win...

    PJ proving the doubters wrong

Wilks remaining head coach  because he earned the job.

We get to the playoffs the tank crowd going have to come back next year, no way Tepper let's them both go without at least another year.

No, but I watched him run for five touchdowns or so over the first few weeks of last season.

If you want to support PJ that's fine, but don't lie and don't be an ass.

And looked slow doing it... when teams were keying CMC...at least he had a blanket...oh but what happened trying that after the cowgirls..no more running forward but backwards and then when he tried to play Superman he hurt his shoulder....n lost the ball.. turnover machine...

You just mad I've been right for the last 2 years, making you wrong for the last two years,PJ been the best QB on this roster since Cam left... even when Cam came back

Yeah Baker and PJ at least have a slightly similar tempo on that. As soon as Baker gets pressured by a real NFL D-line he'll go back to panic throwing unfortunately.

But it's always someone on the line fault
