  1. Remains to be seen how Quinn will handle being a head coach of both sides of the football on gamedays without one of the best secondaries the NFL has seen.

As we've come to learn with our own defensive coordinator turned head coach, that is not an automatic thing guys just figure out on the fly.

To further reinforce this idea, look at how good the Seahawks have been since Pete Carroll took over. You either have it as a head coach or you don't.

  2. I had just about all but completely erased that game from my memory. What a shitfest.

Of course a huge contributing problem with that game and the other blowout losses that followed was obviously our OL, but another huge factor besides our defense getting gashed to pieces was the fact that we just didn't have the offense to keep up, let alone make a comeback down 10+ points.

Since then we've added depth to our RB stable, we've added a promising rookie WR along with Ginn, and we've shored up our interior OL.

Oh, and we've also improved our special teams, I think people forget just how awful it was at certain points last year.

  3. To be fair, I think we have the right to at this point.  Cody Zeller over Noel (he was the consensus first pick to many analyst), Alexis Ajinca over DeAndre Jordan (I wanted Jordan so freaking bad at that pick), MKG over Beal (we needed shooters at the time).  Adam Morrison over anyone.  It's too early to tell but Frank over Justice Winslow which gets drafted by the Heat of all teams.  It's to the point dude, to where we can critize this group for having complete and utter awful drafts.  Bismack Byiombo for Christ sakes?  I'm okay with the Kemba pick actually.  Even the Henderson pick at 12 I was okay with.  But the other ones, man they leave one scratching their head.

I'd rather not continue to live in the past, but that's just me.

At this point we are due for some good. I'd rather not see another season go right down the tubes in waste. I don't think we are done making moves either.

  4. When the Hell have I said I wanted to trade anyone?  If you're gonna generalize people, generalize someone else.  I am loyal to the players on the team usually.  Hell, I don't even mind keeping MKG even though as of right now hes a bust and I wanted Beal.

I didn't say you specifically. I was commenting on the general sentiment around here at times.

It's either about how Jordan sucks as an owner, or Kemba sucks, or trade this guy, or hey let's sign this guy, and then when he sucks people pretend they never wanted him.

But people want to trash a draft pick before he's even had a chance to show anything on the court. It's ridiculous.

  5. Worst part about all this is that the fans may have burned the bridge before the kid could even step foot on it. He could end up being really good for all we know, but if I were him I wouldn't want to stay in Charlotte after last night.

You'd think after Noah and Lance this fanbase would have learned to not get carried away before we see what players are made of.

Pretty much all the people here blasting this kid were creaming their pants for Hairston, and Lance.

Track record here isn't all that great.

  6. That's why I absolutely loved the analysis.  Because we are winning and beating these NFC South teams like we have never done.  If Cam can continue this success in the Playoffs, I don't give a fug if he passes for 1 TD and 150 yards as long as we continue to win.

I don't think that Newton just forgot how to be an accurate passer. His deep ball was a thing of beauty his rookie year.

It's worth considering just exactly how much of a toll his running these past 4 years periodically in games has taken on his mechanics in terms of the habits it has created. Which is why so many of us were thrilled to see how much he had excelled in the pocket early on last year, then when our OL went to poo he had to rely on his legs again, and his accuracy was affected as a result.

  7. You took it in about as much of a negative light as one can.  The analysis was spot on, and Cam isn't a very good pocket passer.  Can he get better?  Yes, but right now.  His stats show him being a pretty average QB passing wise.

What makes him average as a passer in your opinion? Total yards? Passing touchdowns? Completion %?

Hell, I would love to see Newton throw for 300+ yards every game. It would be entertaining sure, but it would likely mean that our defense is getting gashed to pieces. It's nice to put up a ton of yards, but who really gives a poo if your team is getting their asses kicked. Just ask the Saints when they're getting blown out at home, and Brees is padding his numbers.

  8. I'm going to take this as a compliment. However, I'm not this good. Isn't he charlottpanther that was banned last year?

Yep, he also became a Saints fan for awhile. Then sheepishly created a new account to remove the stench. It didn't work.

  9. Same poo with the Cavaliers that we saw with the Heat.

When Lebron wins, he's got the best supporting cast in the NBA. When he loses, he's got the worst cast of bums around him in decades.

    Make up your mind.

  10.

Has any "Great Player" ever played so poorly through an entire NBA Finals Series?

Lebrick shot 47,31.41. 31 and 44 percent through 5 Finals games and tonight threw up a pathetic 13 of 33 effort.

Oh Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosch, please come and save me as I wilt under pressure.

But he's the best in the world. Don't you dare forget that.

  11. It means he's the best in the world lol

Something tells me that if it doesn't include another championship trophy, it isn't going to be enough to make him feel better.

Oh, and I see you quoting me CelibatePimp, you can go ahead and stop you little stink nugget.
