  1. I legit contemplated having an "I'm a sassy apathetic fan doing my thang" choice
  2. Danny Jones vs. Bryce Young is the SB no one knew they needed.
  3. I will say, regardless of the fan typologies, having all the fandom, swimming in the misery for this long will make the next SB level squad feel more special than any prior. The mud in the NFL dungeon has hardened like a shell on this franchise. Maybe we'll see a break out and give everyone a different playing field to babble in.
  4. I sorta get it, but I'm keeping this as is. 3rd option is where you sound to be. It can be opened. Don't see enough disparity between the two/would only muddy the poll.
  5. That third is basically a closed but openable situation. 4th, full on closed and locked
  6. I'd love to see it. Have always been a fan; too bad we didn't have our house in order to insert him into a good situation. With a non Rhule hire, could've had Baker, CMC, Moore at minimum in this place and never had the wheels fall off needing to restart and go trade bezerk.
  7. Figured this would be interesting. It's well into year 3 -- Let's see who falls where
  8. The question I wonder involves putting the cost behind us. At this point he's here, so does the premium paid even matter anymore? It set expectations no doubt, and they weren't met. He's been bench-worthy bad, but he's come back and looked first average, above-average to maybe great, and then downright bad again. Now we're back on a good trend again. Absolute rollercoaster. So what level of performance deems him a viable option to hold? He's looked absolutely incapable of moving an offense at times, and others like a guy you can "Purdy" with some dimes sprinkled in. So, if he continues on this 2 game trend and shows consistent average to above-average play, we're treading into tricky territory. Such a big investment but he tops out as a top-15/20 QB option. It's Alex Smith KC type vibes. Are we going to be sitting at 7-10 come end of season and feel kind of meh? It's right at that fringe of what is worth it. If he doesn't re-sh*t the bed, we may be best suited to go BPA next draft and see the 2026 progression. And that will be the final make/break year. What I can see if he doesn't fall apart and things look manageable: He may end up being the average precursor to finding the great talent that you can build the team around. How Alex Smith was in KC. They built that with him (not around him) until they eventually got Mahomes. Heck, think back to Trent Green/Warner. So, BY can manage, we may get some success, but if a stud comes along, we bail and roll with the new gun.
  9. Yeah was a bit hyperbolic. Just find it funny yet again, we're talking about who is genuine and virtuous in their opinions on Bryce.
  10. I’m conflicted on locking vs seeing how this continues to spiral… could be entertaining
  11. Here's your old days. Same stuff. Criticizing how Zod manages, how everyone here is a pre-teen. We're all Peter Panned. Locked in a self-cycling bubble.
  12. A GWD is a defined stat. And yeah, any comeback is a team effort...not all GWD's are default due to the QB. Sometimes they don't do a ton, but that is a fault baked into all GWD stats, not just Bryce's. So when the sample size is small, just like anything, it can be deceiving. Then it's more on the eye-test and top down analysis. So I get the perspective/premise to an extent... although I haven't seen that many overly touting this stat. Looks like there's another thread but haven't read it yet. It is still a week-to-week situation. Next step is stringing this type of play together. He played great against the Boys, for whatever you think of their defense. You still have to show up against the bad ones. Now it's time to keep it going and not turn into what we've become used to the past 3 years.
  13. His run blocking is making up for his negatives in pass blocking right now. He’ll still have pass blocking hiccups, but if they think he’s a critical part to the locker room and team construction, you probably re-sign him and try not to overpay.
  14. Callahan is gone McDaniel and Taylor are happening Stefanski is a growing possibility. I mean, they need to get an offense going eventually. Could see Morris as a surprise one.
  15. Not saying they are an even comp, just comparable typologies.
  16. FWIW, I think it shows that this was a really solid team performance. A lot in green/fringe green. If someone had sub 10-snaps, the grade can be misleading but overall, just a nice day. The entire team looked like they wanted to kick Dallas in the teeth. Especially in our run game.
  17. Thank you - I knew I was forgetting someone. Our rookies are putting in some work. McMillan, Scourton, Princely, Horn, Evans, Fitz, Trevor, Tremaine all had substantial playing time. Ransom still with just like 7 snaps. Hope that starts to change, he ticked back down in playing time this week.
  18. He played 58% of our snaps. I suggest you check it back out. The catch was fine, but it's what he's doing in the run game that's helping out in 12 personnel. Him and Tremble did work.
  19. I made him and Lewis a pair because those two are just singing very well and destroying guys the last two weeks. If Icky plays mistake free in the passing game, it's a huge factor in controlling the clock for this team. Ezeiruaku had a few early moments, but that was about it. We had our way with the entire DAL defense.
  20. -Rico is our early season MVP. Stud. -Bryce Young - best game as a pro. See the other threads, very happy with how he played. The first McMillan TD was a good example of what type of rhythm and feel we should expect to see. -Cade Mays had an absolute mother of a game. Absolutely bullied the Cowboys interior. I am getting convinced he’s a potential answer at center. Want to keep seeing it. -Icky & Lewis road grading on the left was top tier today. They’re getting it done the past two weeks. -BC in our stretch zone looks. We finally started diversifying the run game. Looked like we had Brady moving quickly to the perimeter on stretches and tosses. He swung out and killed some Dallas secondary. -Trevin Wallace got himself in position and helped close a few Dallas possessions. Doesn’t go unnoticed. -Mitchell Evans - loving what I’m seeing -Jimmy Horn Jr making noise. He looks NFL quick, not just college quick. -Coaching staff - they’ve have questionable moments this season but this was a really nice, complete game they called. I probably missed some, feel free to chime in
  21. Trevin had some nice moments on 3rd down yesterday. He seems to be trending well the past two weeks.
  22. I will say, we don't have any world beaters but a very complimentary TE room. I've been of the impression Ian Thomas severely skewed how people thought of guys that have been respectable in their time here. For context- 3 of Tremble's first 4 touches in the NFL were TDs. The 1 remaining of 4 was a chunk play. 10 TDs in 4 years as our TE2 is not bad, especially considering the coaching and personnel over that time. And he's made impact plays when called upon. I have never got the hate on him outside of sharing a room with Ian. He never elevated to his high round 3 pick, but he's been good enough for how we've used him. JT looked solid at the end of last year but he's really just a receiving type. But he showed up in that final ATL win. I don't know what to think of him yet but he's an alright option to have even if he doesn't turn out to be a top receiving TE. Mitch can play all 3 TE spots though. He's of the LaPorta and Kraft mold which I love. Sanders more like a Musgrave, Tremble more like a B Strange. We'll see but I'm hopeful. Evans is the type that could free up a roster spot long term and add some disguise-ability to our offense if he can become our TE1.
