Caleb, Tyrique, Wright, Moore all majorly helped lead this win. Hard to dispute

Go Bears Da Bears

Even if we move on from Evero, given trends, we’ll still have 2 high looks and it is for sure a need. Ransom is great for 5/6 DB packages, but you need a true compliment to Moehrig. Would love to find a guy with the nickel/S flexibility with coverage skills. A DeJean-esque dude would be huge.

From a pure individual game standpoint, he has the most well rounded single WR performance since Smitty tonight. That’s nothing AT ALL against Tmac, it was just that impressive IMO. Feel great about those two in house.

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)
Bear Hands replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’ve been more middle of the road with Bryce, sometimes even favorable, but I’m surprisingly still in the out camp. His lows this last year were still just too alarming for me. No doubt he’s not going anywhere, but I’m mjust a bit exhausted waiting for it to all get consistent and feel like comfortable, fun football. It was tonight though (mostly) -
You target them with the $ amount you’re comfortable with. If we miss out, oh well haha
-
I think we should target a young proven type with the propensity for big plays. Wandale Robinson and Alec Pierce are both set to be FAs and would compliment Tmac & Coker very well. Thise are my two targets. We have enough youth to not bother about the draft and focus on the front-7 and OL

I view Canales as a good coach in the day-to-day, practice lead capacity. Big issue is that his overall approach (especially his run game), playbook and playcalling can leave a lot to be desired. He definitely tailors to a rhythm offense needing a finesse zone RB. I still think he has potential but he needs to get someone instead of his buddy Brad to help steer the vision on offense. They went a little too hard on the late-2010s SEA emulation when that wasn’t even the best version of Pete’s regime.

I wouldn't be mad if they let Rico walk

He's also going to be 28. At RB, that's like 33 for other spots. We also have an out with Hubbard's contract which I honestly think we should take off our hands as well. As far as I'm concerned, given the way we like to play offense, RB, OT and a WR3 are the offensive needs right now. -

This poll will totally, in no way, devolve into fan bickering lol

Ravens job should be super interesting - one of the better open slots in forever. Jesse Minter - but he may not have good enough pull for offensive mind Stefanski - I could see it but think he's got a good opp with NYG Chris Shula - All the rage in league circles for good reason Anthony Weaver - familiarity but maybe a bit too close of ties
-
He's ain't just a bean counter. He's been in on visioning the squad, evals and does day-to-day work with Dan's scout team. Much more involved than some would think. I'm at the least happy Tillis & Eager have made it here to show guys how real folks work in front offices haha.

Bryce Young NFL NGS Throwing Breakdown '23-'25
Bear Hands replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Intermediate has been a notable problem in his game, particularly at the perimeter against zone. His clean pocket passes don’t have the velocity you want so DBs can play off and catch back up for the pick (2 of his last 3 ints from that very instance). A pro-QB needs to be able to hit those passes quickly, with enough velocity to get the guy open in space. He can’t hit it quick enough to a guy to give him space against zone. So you really can’t play the diverse short/intermediate game where he methodically takes a team down field consistently. Now, I’m sure there are some instances where he’s managed; but most of the time those perimeter intermediate are either wildly inaccurate or floaters. The field sideline-to-sideline just feels so huge with him playing. He can surprisingly work the middle of the field okay because he’ll move in pocket (or out) until the sight lane is found — but his tools don’t allow him to hit a clean 5 step drop with zip to an X or flanker in that range. It’s why some of his best work has been post 2 seconds hitting a crosser to Coker this year or Tmac on a deeper mesh. This is also why I absolutely do not see the Brees comps as much as people like to make parallels. -
I mean Canales owes his entire career to him. It’s not just like some guy who was worked under for a year or so. For whatever that’s worth ha

He built a great legacy prior to Vegas in both the college and pros, should just chill and consult moving forward.

Yeah it’s only my outside view. He seems very attune to finding the right guys and fits. -

For me, it seemed bringing in Tillis to help guide the process was one of the biggest factors in avoiding our typical draft and FA blunders. Still dealt with coaching and personnel issues, but I think Brandt is a huge factor. It's another Beane situation. -

I’m just laying out some numbers. In no way correlating the situations haha -
Tepper should throw some money at J Gannon

Wear it like a badge of honor. Want to know one of the other lowest ever differentials for a playoff squad? The 2014 7-8-1 Panthers -35 Let's go -
Agreed, this looks like a great draft class to take a stab at a Moton successor

I got a fever. And the only cure, is more Princely.

He’s on the Bonitto plan. Situational starting out, we’ll see if he can develop beyond that. Next year will be a big tell but shouldn’t hinder us from getting a legit proven compliment to Scourton.
