  1. Amazing what a qb can do to a roster. It's amazing the talent difference between Young and Stroud. How the Carolina panther talent evaluators came away with Young over Stroud  may be the most mind boggling talent evaluation in pro sports history. I mean it's like scouting Michael Jordan and choosing Spud Webb. They paid for it this season and will many more to come.  It's unreal.

  2. Sorry but Bryce basically had 1 half of football all year that looked like an nfl caliber qb. The rest of the year he looked like a dirt poor version of Teddy Bridgewater. The only reason you'd build a team around him is because of what you gave up for him. You'd have to completely ignore how limited he is.

  3. If he's gonna get a gm and Coaching staff worth al lick it will be agreed before they accept their jobs that they will have final say in personnel moves. That being said Young will be under a microscope by the new leadership next year. If he's playing at the same level the first 4 weeks next year he'll find the bench and be moved on from quickly.

  4. Everyone should be  expendable on this roster. As good as Brown is this team needs more money for a complete roster overhaul than giving him a massive deal. This team is expansion level bad. Sadly it's 2 biggest glaring needs are a Left Tackle and at the qb position after addressing them with first rd picks the last 2 years. This upcoming draft nothing will will be able to get addressed at the premium positions like it should. Therefore drafting a premium linebacker or interior offensive lineman should be a priority in the 2nd rd. This team is beyond terrible so the next couple years should be about cheap contracts and draft picks going forward.

  5. I gave him credit the 1 half he looked like  an nfl qb. The other 31 he looked like an undersized undrafted free agent that didn't belong in the nfl.  He's is an official bust. I know many say give them the 2nd year but this is as obvious as any I've ever saw. Absolutely no improvement or feel for the game. He's drastically physically limited as well. He doesn't possess 1 tool. He was a fraud from the beginning but like all frauds he was found out.

  6. I have to tell myself this isn't the Panther organization I rooted for for 2 decades. This is now a horrifically run organization that has 0 hopes of improving for the foreseeable future. This was the season I gave up as did many. Poor ownership,  poor decisions have killed it. This is an embarrassment to pro sports.

  7. Just looking at him he doesn't even look like a  left Tackle. He's  6'4 thick built. Plus he played guard in College before playing Tackle. He lacks any kind of quickness to handle the corner. Sure he can run block so that makes him being a guard that much more important.

Yes. Say we still had the same record but we had a first round pick. No one would be that upset.
Also I am way more hopeful about 2024s crop of QBs than 2023s which was, even before the draft, seen as a mediocre at best draft.
Essentially we chose the worst year to trade up.

Wouldn't matter. Whichever qb that's a bust in 24 would've been Teppers pick.
