watching these two games the Canes need to get A LOT heavier, maybe they can teach pool to actually hit someone, and get some physical players this off season

guess I'm an optimist but ALL these games could have gone our way if just a few post shots would have gone in - Bob is on a roll but our goalies have been really good, Panthers have peaked at the right time and maybe it's their year, but I put little blame on Rod or the team for that matter. Only fault is Waddel not getting a stud at the deadline.

Right, Freddie is playing his best for a big free agent contract next season. whatever the motivation we ride him, and the Canes style is perfectly suited to playoff hockey where most all these teams rely on a few big studs to score and the Canes have a unique way to shut them down and frustrate them - we could make a decent run

we will see what Freddy's made of, time to step up and show us you were worth the money

I agree, Andersen has checked out, and Raanta needs to rest and reset, put the rookie in for game 6 and hope for the best

Raanta is the difference so far in the series, Canes are a good team when they get elite goalie play Anderson is way to inconsistent and seems afraid to play in big games - if Raanta needs a rest I'd go with the rookie

Still scared of their goalie, one place they are much better than us. Hope Rod does the rotation of Raanta at home and Freddy on the road to start - if Freddy still looks shaky then just go with Raanta and hope for the best.

We need a shut down goalie and a 40 goal scorer to compete for the cup - the canes have neither

Have to agree, looks like Anderson is reverting back to his bad showings in the playoffs when he was with Toronto, and the rookie is just not ready. Ranta is the best shot but I can't see him beating Boston, one leaky goal is enough to blow the game.
