  1. Not even comparable in my opinion One coach has increased his teams wins by ten each season as his conference has gotten significantly harder While the other has produced the same number of wins in a conference that has gotten older and easier.
  2. This team is really bad defensively. Wide open threes everywhere. Game is closer than it should be.
  3. “There’s people in the building that believe he can be the left tackle.” Imagine if our staff last year had actually played him there in a lost season and found that answer before we go into a critical draft with little to no draft picks. man, week six of this season can’t come soon enough. I think Rhule gets six games and when we start 1-5 he’s sent packing.
  4. Y’all that still own psls need to pay close attention to this. This is coming to a Queen City near you in the next five to ten years.
  5. when the cowboys or Steelers come to town: sure, there is profit to be made But have you ever tried to sell a pair of tickets that you paid over 100 dollars for in your psl package to a late season (5-9) panthers team vs a (4-10) falcons team. I remember seeing tickets being put in the big planter boxes outside the stadium during the 2010 debacle. There is no home field advantage in Charlotte due to the fact that for 25+ Years, two owners have sold a bag of garbage to the local fan base and tried to pass it as a functioning nfl franchise (sans four or five years). In order to have a fair weather culture, the team actually needs to appear competent and win some consistently.
  6. This is a garbage take. The psl owners built this franchise. Put a winning team on the field and you won’t have to beg for support. Your condescending tone towards the people who helped fund a team being here is ignorant.
  7. Like him or not, we’re a playoff team with a healthy Baker Mayfield next year.
  8. You put some respect on his name and add the second r when you are talking about the Cobbfather
  9. Also, the longer we get away from the Marshawn Lynch era, the more I respect his attitude and game. Just a cool dude that could absolutely run people over.
  10. We will never see linebacker play at that high of a level again for the panthers and possibly in the NFL. Luke was one of the all timers.
  11. I’d hold onto him. It’s not like his injuries are structural. Hopefully the two years he’s had on the shelf can be sort of a reset for him and we can figure out a smarter way to use him moving forward to keep him healthy.
  12. I like Ridder. He’s who I’d roll the dice with. I could stomach a trade down in the late teens-twenties which adds us a second. We take a middle linebacker or guard/center in the first; then Ridder in the second. if we bomb out and draft high next year, we take our qb and have lost very little other than a wasted second round pick
  13. If one of those big three lineman aren’t there are at six, trade back, pick up a second and take one of those middle linebackers. A thumper at MLB with Chinn and Shaq beside them would make this defense filthy.
  14. Has anybody stopped to think how lopsided the conferences are in terms of QB’s: AFC: Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Lamar, Watson, Wilson, Carr. NFC: Aging Rodgers, Aging Brady, Murray, Dak, Stafford, and ???? Is Cousins seriously the 6th best QB in the NFC? Look at these potential names starting for NFC teams: Goff, Fields, Lock, Lance, Jones, Wentz, Winston, Ryan, Darnold, Hurts. Yikes.
  15. I’m not gonna lie, these off-season moves have been solid so far. Addressing some major holes and spending the cash to do so. This gives us a ton of flexibility in the draft. If they want to take a shot at QB, they have set themselves up to do so.
  16. I’m just here for sizzlebuzz to tell me that the reason we didn’t get Watson was due to his opinions on the Appaloosa hierarchy.
  17. Listen, somebody has to be fed to the wolves for this fiasco. Unfortunately, we don’t have the luxury of firing an owner (maybe he will eventually have his own blue Jean scandal that gets him cancelled). Right now, all we have is Rhule and there is more than enough source material established to pile on him for.
  18. Lay off our boy Garry. It’s bad enough he’s gone through 60 plus years without ever having his name spelled correctly. That kind of pain can take it’s toll on a man.
  19. What a miserable start to an ownership era Tepper has had. I don’t blame him for hiding from the media. Dude has legit looked lost at every turn. At least you have soccer, Dave.
  20. At this rate, we’re gonna have more daily Watson threads than Friday the 13th sequels.
  21. You will get no arguments from me on that one. However, most of the wealthy I’ve crossed paths with have a semblance of intelligence, but what they lack is humility due to an oversized ego.
  22. He needs to make Rhule prove his worth with Sam Darnold this year. Sure, it’s gonna suck to watch as fans, but Rhule is out of excuses and bandaids. He needs to mandate that the offensive line be addressed or a trade down take place in this draft. If we have the ability to pick up a first round pick from anyone for next year, we need to take that deal so that we will have ammunition to move up and grab one of those top tier incoming qbs. He needs to make sure the cap is in clean shape for the next three years so that we can extend Moore and Burns, while also adding quality pieces to help our rookie qb win a super bowl while on his rookie deal. the mess he’s made is not a one year fix like we’ve tried to do for three straight years. Let Rhule fail, fire him, hire someone with experience and build this thing right this time. with any luck, Brady will be retired in three years, the team that gets Watson will be reeling from overpaying for his buddies and not having any young talent, and the division will be there for the taking.
  23. I have to believe Tepper is a smart man, however his desperation in this whole ordeal reeks of someone who hasn’t faced adversity (that he couldn’t buy his way out of) in his life. There are no shortcuts to establishing a winning nfl team. You need to have the right people in the right places for years making the right decisions.
  24. Ironically, Matt Rhule is gonna lead us to our franchise qb with his culture. He just won’t be around to see it. we’re gonna be in a position to draft one of the big boys next year and hopefully we will have spent this years draft capital on ensuring that investment is protected.
  25. I wouldn’t hate it. If either of the top two ends were to fall, I think it’s an easy choice. If we like either of those guys better than tackle #3, I’d pull the trigger.
