  1. Depends on all the relevant factors. Where we end up picking, what this year’s QBs look like. Still a lot of football to be played to determine these things.
  2. From what I read at the time it was because they didn’t want Eli and Peyton both in the AFC competing against each other.
  3. Cam would have killed for this OL and weapons group post 2013. Sure, he had Smitty and Olsen at first and a solid OL that year, but once Gross was gone his line was always significantly worse than our OL this year and once Smitty was gone his weapons were significantly worse. Yea last year the line and weapons weren’t good but they weren’t as bad as Bryce made them look.
  4. I mean, no one is expecting we’ll become unbeatable but defense doesn’t work in a vacuum either. They’ll be better just by not having to run back onto the field every 30 seconds because Bryce can’t sustain a drive.
  5. Very diplomatic way to say it’s all Bryce’s fault.
  6. I do think Reich would still be here and I agree we probably would have been in the 6-8 win range, our OL was below average (Bryce made them look even worse though) and our WRs were below average (Bryce made them look even worse though) but Stroud would have been able to work with that. With this year’s OL and weapons? We’d be averaging 25-28 pts a game. Defense would look better cuz they wouldn’t be on the field so much with such short fields for the opponents. I think we may have still lost to the Saints (they’re looking pretty damn strong) but it would have been close and I think we would have beaten the Chargers.
  7. Yea you were definitely the most outspoken anti-Bryce person here. I was extremely pro-Stroud moreso than anti-Bryce. I thought Bryce would be decent but nowhere near as good as Stroud who I knew was gonna be a star.
  8. Trading up wasn’t dumb. Taking Bryce was dumb. If we had taken Stroud it would have been the best trade in franchise history.
  9. I blame 100% on Bryce. He would have been a bust if he went to the Chiefs.
  10. There is absolutely no chance Bryce is on the team next year, much less stopping us from drafting a QB no matter where we end up picking (which will surely be top 3 at worst).
  11. I said it all that offseason, Stroud throws the best ball and is the most accurate I might have ever seen in college. And unlike Bryce, his attributes translate to the NFL.
  12. Ok, he just all of a sudden became the most inaccurate QB ever. Whatever you say buddy.
  13. That’s just how it goes. Happens all the time, week to week adjustments in the season don’t catch up like an entire offseason to study does.
  14. Or if Canales knows he has security and is aiming for that #1 pick. I think he should bench him too, because of the effect Bryce had to have on the rest of the team, but it would be detrimental to the future of the team for Dalton to go in and win us 6 or 7 games where we have to trade up again to get our pick of QBs. Fitterer is gone, so for now I’d have more confidence this time around.
  15. I think it’s the old “teams have tape on him now” effect. Last year other teams probably still bought into the college hype that fooled Fitterer and played him with more respect and gave up some stuff. This year they see that he’s not an NFL qb and can scheme their defense accordingly.
  16. There was a random graphic that was floating around last year with some cherry picked stats and situations that tried to spin Bryce as accurate when receivers were “open”. It was bs then, it’s bs now
  17. No, he really wasn’t. No matter what some stupid cherry picked graphic would lead you to believe. His accuracy was atrocious last year too.
  18. Oh look 10:30 left in the game before he makes his first decent throw. And follows it up with his usual trash throw
  19. I mean we’d be better, but we’d be stuck in .500 purgatory with Wilks. The better question is how much better would we be if we kept Darnold or Baker, kept Moore and picked two good players in the first with the picks we gave for Bryce.
  20. Considering what we traded to get him, yea probably.
  21. Refs already f’d us on one turnover. I expect them to again
  22. Oh look, takes forever to make a decision again and gets sacked again
  23. Oh look he completely missed another wide open receiver. Shocker
  24. March down the field running. Bryce “drive killer” Young strikes again. At least Chuba got us some points this time.
