  1. Yep. Just need to throw some pink slashes, lighten the blue to more of a sky blue and keep the silver. Look like the intro to saved by the bell
  2. DJ playing to his new fans was fine, what I found to be weird was the pouty “they didn’t want me” angle. It was obviously not true, and even more blatantly so now with this new claim by his agent.
  3. Lol I’ve always hated the silver. Always hated our helmets. Been begging for at least the helmets to change for forever
  4. Thank God we’re dropping the silver. That’s all I really care about. I’m sure it’ll look great.
  5. Heh same. Skated through high school getting all As. Got to college and didn’t know how to study or apply myself. Resulted in a 20 year career in the military lol.
  6. My only real hangup on him is his poor accuracy. He just doesn’t put the ball in good locations for his receivers and that’s a difficult skill to acquire after a QB is already in the NFL. I’m sure with practice he could rein in the wild throws he’s prone to a bit, but I don’t think he’ll ever be a ball placement specialist and likely won’t ever be above average at throwing catchable balls in stride where only his receiver can make a play on it. That’s way more important to me than running ability. Cam’s running ability was just icing on the cake, it was his deep balls and ability to make throws like that matrix throw TD to Dickson against Atlanta, while still being most consistent on other passes that allowed him to be successful. His biggest knock as a thrower was an occasional high pass, but they weren’t much more common than the other great QBs.
  7. As long as Stroud isn’t a dumbdumb, a couple points on a test like this don’t make a difference. Still much prefer Stroud but I’d be fine with Young.
  8. I don’t think anyone is under any kind of excessive pressure. Reich is brand new, he has plenty of leash, Fitterer has been killing it, Tepper is the boss and has been doing well too. But if I had to choose one, it’d be the QB because just getting started in the NFL is pressure enough, with the added expectations from being #1.
  9. Lol. That gif is called the spinaroonie. Should be enough
  10. I had the same thought. Considering buying a CJ jersey immediately if we get him. Might not though, I’ve only ever bought one rookie’s jersey and it didn’t turn out well…just one hint:
  11. I agree, I’ve been saying it. I liked Lawrence, but CJ is on another level. His kind of accuracy is uncommon. Especially with no other flaws to speak of, just a couple areas that are less than amazing.
  12. Luckily Florio is rarely right. He’s just another bs hot take artist like Cowherd.
  13. Yea that’s fair. But there have been a lot of posters around here not talking about their fears, but actually accusing him of being what you refer to and stating it as fact.
  14. Well yea, those problems are all part of that group of mistakes I mentioned. Being too patient with Rivera/Hurney then falling for Rhule’s bs was absolutely a huge mistake. But as to my point, he’s been the opposite of meddling by doing what you said, trusting those three incompetents too much.
  15. Not really no, and the city of rock hill was the one that fuged that up anyway. There’s been a lot of people looking for a reason to hate him since he got here, getting outraged over nothing. Overall he’s been a net positive influence on the team, and some growing pains are sure to be expected from anyone that’s new at something like this. I for one see him as a breath of fresh air after the stale fetid atmosphere that Richardson enforced, always striving to maintain the status quo and caring more about the good of the league over the good of the team. Hopefully Tepper shakes stuff up more. This is the most exciting offseason we’ve ever seen outside maybe the first one, just because nothing could be more exciting than getting our own franchise was. There’s no way this could have happened under Richardson. The most comparable year, 2011, had a shitty HC hire, kept Hurney, would go on to fire him, hire someone arguably worse, and then REHIRE Hurney. In 2011 we had the #1 pick and Cam was exciting, but nothing else really moved the needle. Most of us were cautiously optimistic Rivera could be decent but annoyed we went with yet another defensive HC. So yea, Tepper’s mishandling the preliminary round of coaching and keeping Hurney was a mistake. One he seemed to learn from.
  16. Yea I lump keeping Ron too long in the “coaching decision”. Rock hill has nothing to do with the football team so who cares.
  17. The feeling that people are getting that Young is catching up to Stroud in the Panthers’ eyes might mean the misdirection is working
  18. It’s been obvious from day one that Tepper lets his football people make the decisions. He’s never been a meddling owner despite what some here believe for some reason. Made a mistake in his first decision on a coach, but beyond that there haven’t been any problems.
  19. Doesn’t matter he isn’t as good as TJ Watt, his deal will be newer so the bar has been raised.
