  1. That is not that far fetched of a possibility. This draft is setting up to be bazaar in so many ways.
  2. That just may be the plan. I think they tried to break it last year by trading into the 1st for a 2nd round wr. The jury is still out on if it was worth it as so far the results look the same.
  3. I doubt anyone beyond the penciled in starters are safe.
  4. Who? Seriously, I forgot he was on the roster.
  5. I think you may have the first 3 positions correct but in the wrong order. My crystal ball says it will be LB, Edge, WR in that order.
  6. I think he's one of their targets. It's tough to get a read on what the actual target will be on day 1. I get the feeling they are planning for several scenarios on day 1 if the visits and meetings mean anything. Most of the research they have done publicly have been on day 3 picks. They seemed to show a lot of interest in the SC safety early on.
  7. He has been predicted to be selected by us at 8 for a while now. It's either Walker or Williams that you see as our pick. I'm not sure if it's a real possibility or just that it's just easy to say the Panthers will go defense and this is who I have as bpa at that pick.
  8. I deduced that from Morgan's breakdown of him. He mentioned Robinson as the runstopper and was only intended to play on rushing downs but due to injuries he had to play almost every down. Wharton will be the pass rusher to compliment Robinson.
  9. I really want us to be able to trade down. But as far as "want" I have none other than a defensive player on day 1. Who doesn't really matter to me save for a couple of exceptions. My thinking is the team will take Walker if he's available. If he's not then I haven't a clue.
  10. My question would be, why collect all those picks to waste a vast majority of them on players you never intend to keep? You are basically collecting players to later cut for other teams to sign without spending a draft pick on them. I fail to see the logic.
  11. Fantasy football and Maden is ruining football for me.
  12. Wharton will rotate with Robinson on passing downs. He's a pass rusher.
  13. The Saints are pretty much like us in that they need help just about everywhere. I don't not see much trading either as you really do not need to trade to get a decent player after pick 3 on day 1. The Titans and Browns are almost forced to take a qb, especially the Browns after the Watson comments yesterday. So that leaves Hunter and Carter as the only players that would draw real trade up interest. After those 2 there are 30 other players on day 1 to choose from. It becomes a matter of who do you really want out of those guys on day 1 regardless of where some goober ranks them.
  14. The players Dan signed do not worry me as much as the coach that is using them.
  15. Warren will not be among the beat players available to the Panthers at 8 so you need to forget about him. If Graham and Walker are gone you're looking at CB or S (although I'm skeptical of the Panthers choice here) and possibly an OT. Don't rule out a late 1st ranked edge here either.
  16. That theory would greatly depend on which team between us and SF would take a tackle or possibly trade with someone wanting a tackle as well.
  17. I don't think anyone doesn't think it has been upgraded and should be better. We just do not know how much better it will actually be.
  18. I'm hearing that safety and qb are the positions with the least talent in this draft. If you want a good one you better take one early.
  19. I never understand why teams want to switch a players position in the pros. They drafted based on their success at one position and say, hey let's play him somewhere else and see how he does. Membou is one hell of a RT and scouts want to make him an IOL. Rhule was another believer in that projection philosophy. I say if he's kicking ass at a high level in college a T play him at T.
  20. Their win total for the season was 4.5 at the beginning of the season. Spot on if you ask me.
  21. Vegas is rarely wrong. Wait until closer to seasons start to see if the line moves. It's too early to predict anything right now.
  22. No he is not a generational talent. There's not one in this draft. I like my odds on Warren.
