What most people on this site don’t seem to understand is you can’t just line up and run the ball right at the defense over and over, especially when your QB is directly responsible for costing your team at least 3 scores and giving the other team at least 2 more. I don’t think giving Dowdle 10 more carries would have changed any of that. We couldn’t even throw a screen pass without it being intercepted.

It took them weeks to make those moves. This is the first week without Young.

Most backup QBs are ass. Look at Browning in Cincinnati, any of the 100 QBs on the Browns, the Ravens without Lamar, etc etc. Once your starter goes down you’re generally in big trouble. Especially when your defense decides it’s no longer going to defend the run.

Dalton has been so godawful it’s almost hard to quantify

This line is getting stupid. Dalton has turned the ball over twice in the first half, including getting intercepted on a screen pass. The running back isn’t going to make a difference.

You have to really fuging suck to get picked off on a screen pass.

Anyone could have run through that hole. That took very little skill.

Well so far this team has been excellent at blowing multi-goal leads. Very talented.

They got caught up with the mob and ended up on the Fed’s radar. That’s the problem here.

The post bye schedule is brutal too. Glad we got to see a winning record. It might get ugly the rest of the way. 7-10 is a realistic mark but maybe the defense can keep us in these tougher games.
