There’s no way it will work out, it never does. See: Deshaun Watson and, going a little further back for a better comparison, Khalil Mack. Super Bowl teams aren’t built on a huge free agency splash signings. This will be more of a distraction than anything else. Unless it’s a multiple SB winning QB (and there’s only one of those right now) no one player is worth this kind of capital to acquire.

Well the packers just fuged their salary cap and their drafts for the foreseeable future. Stupid move to sign this overpriced clown but hey someone has to set the precedent, right?

This season has a 2021 feel to it. In 2020 we had a young team with little talent but some young guys that played some good teams surprisingly close including almost winning at KC. The Rhule experiment seemed like it might work until it didn’t and we went 5-12. Now last year we almost won at Philly (thanks Leggette) and had an unproven coach with a pretty decent year. As it turned out in 2021 we weren’t nearly as close as we thought.

We looked ok from what I saw of players who will actually be on the field this year.
