  1. Watson may have a no-trade clause, but that doesn't have any bearing on the terms- only the team. Carolina might offer up something, but the Texans don't even have to consider it. And, on the other hand, the Texans stand a pretty good chance of being on the receiving end of a bidding war when it comes to Miami and the Jets.
  2. To be fair, he hasn't had a QB with an arm yet, either. Cam was hurt and TB.... well... it's TB.
  3. On the other hand, it's what's turned the NBA into a shitshow of haves and have-nots. Parity? Bwahhhh!
  4. Tepper was the guy who ordered the GM and head coach to get Cam off the field because he was hurt and couldn't throw the ball. If anything, Cam might actually owe him some thanks for not allowing him to get permanently injured.
  5. This all day. And, to be quite honest, why aren't educators considered "essential employees" and why weren't they part of the first groups to be vaccinated? "Teachers only work 9 months out of the year, anyway...." (bullshit) Here's what's not being said: "I'm tired of my kid being home and I have to adjust my schedule. Put 'em back in school so I can get on with my life." "I can't afford day care and I depend on the school for that." "It's not my job to teach my kids or make sure they're getting their studies done." As someone who experienced COVID, I can unequivocally state that if I had a kid, they would not be in school until I decided it was safe, I don't care if he/she would have to repeat if there was no remote learning option. The other elephant in the room not many want to discuss is the lack of infrastructure and resources within the under-served communities to have a successful remote learning experience. It's not as simple as handing out laptops and showing kids how to log in. I could go on for a couple pages on that subject alone.
  6. I maintain a limited inventory of N95s on the job, but we locked those up. We keep them for use as part of the job and if we wore them daily, I don't know I'd be able to get any when we need them for the true reason they were purchased. We're using both cloth and a blue surgical style made for people working in the electronics manufacturing industry. Some of my people are wearing the cloth over the surgical.
  7. How much do you think the situation you're dealing with varies from one county to another, given each has their own BOE, and the BOE has their own agenda?
  8. And, for being such a good sport, I'll let you continue to put the NFL logo at midfield...
  9. The failure is the result of a pandemic. The failure is not due to remote learning, it's due to the pandemic. That's like saying the restaurant industry is a failure, the movie theater business, travel & tourism....
  10. Man, I'm puckering just looking at that thing. Look at it this way- less ass means not a lot for the boss to chew on. I'll be thinking about you- be well and be safe.
  11. Well, back then you could play defense and you'd actually have to commit an offense deemed against the rules to get a flag. Pass interference was really pass interference; roughing the passer meant you really clocked someone and unnecessary roughness was usually reserved for an act of assault. And refs weren't interested in altering the outcome of the game.
  12. I will preface this by saying I don't like Mark Scheifele as the captain of an NHL hockey team. I think he sets a terrible example as a leader and I tend to believe that he and Laine probably couldn't co-exist given their polar opposite personalities. Don't get me wrong, I'd have Scheifele on my team for a 2-year year deal, but he wouldn't be a captain if I could help it. Anyone remember this? What the video misses is Scheifele cross-checking Pesce into the middle of the ice, Mrazek then trips Scheifele, and Pesce goes after him. I was at this game and remember Scheifele taking a couple cheap shots once the Canes got out to a lead.
  13. 2 RWs, 1 LW, 1 C and 1 D. They're basically going to play with either 3 solid, but pieced together lines or 4 pieced together lines and plug in the taxi guys along all 4. Either way, the top 2 lines are going to stack up some ice time.
  14. Fortunately, they're playing baseball series schedule so they're not traveling every off day.
  15. Keep an eye on TE's Charlie Kolar (Iowa State) projected rounds 3-5 or Quintin Morris (Bowling Green) projected rounds 4-6. Morris will be playing in the Senior Bowl. "Kolar has, quite easily, some of the best ball skills in the entire class. Listed at 6-foot-6, 257 pounds, he has had no problem high-pointing jump balls and back shoulders over the course of his career. For his career, he’s dropped only two of 62 catchable targets, and he finished fourth among all tight ends with 11 contested catches in 2019. While he’ll never be confused for a dynamic threat at the position, Kolar at least proved capable of getting downfield, hauling in the second-most receptions that were targeted 10-plus yards from the line of scrimmage of any tight end (28)."
  16. If the Panthers don't want a QB in the draft, they should opt for the guy says he's a QB after spending last night at the Holiday Inn Express.
  17. Stafford has played under 3 head coaches and 4 different OCs during his 12 years in Detroit. Aside from the fact it's a horribly run franchise, 2 seasons with Matt Patricia is like having no head coach at all. Remember this is the team Barry Sanders retired from at the peak of his career because they wouldn't build a team around him. Megatron also retired in his prime for the same reason. The only thing I blame Stafford for is sticking around as long as he did.
  18. Johnny Craviotto. Have a couple singer/songwriter friends in Nashville said he makes custom drum kits there. Very cool.
  19. Jerry Colquitt and Stefan LeFors say, "Hi!"
  20. Against the Dodgers' Al Downing. If I remember correctly, didn't Downing sit down on the mound as the ovations went on for quite a while.
  21. Shhhhh.... stirring up poo in the Huddle rumor mill is fun.
  22. DeShaun Watson is not a rookie. DeShaun Watson does not need "mentoring."
  23. A "sin" is a theist concept and, as an atheist, the term means nothing to me. So, while your christian brotherhood will look down upon you as a "sinner," I consider you no less of a human being.
