  1. Nope, they just said "we had enough" and gave up lol Absolutely puzzling decision
  2. CJ Stroud's decline has to be studied. He was considered a top 10 QB after his rookie season, and is very clearly not a top 20 QB. He is overthrowing simple passes
  3. Suddenly the division is very gettable
  4. The Bills are statistically worse in every way on offense to the Cowboys, and about equal to the Cowboys defense, and we just won a shootout against the Cowboys My fear with Dalton is he is incredibly immobile in the pocket, and he cannot buy time like Bryce has to make those clutch throws. Hate on Bryce all you want, but he is pretty good at extending plays and making 4th down conversions. Andy is more “if the throw isn’t there in the first 1.5 seconds, it’s an incompletion or sack” type of QB.
  5. I hope not. 3rd-5th round QB's are historically awful. Most of the time that team is just drafting another QB in the first the following year. Look at the Saints, if they continue to suck this year they are just taking a QB. And if they do they just threw away a 2nd round pick that they just drafted. We did the same poo with Clausen, Greer, Pike, that guy we drafted a few years ago who is so irrelevant I forgot his name... Just take a 1st round QB if Bryce isn't the answer and be prepared to live with it
  6. There are people on this forum that just want to see a lot of passing yards....number go up. That's all it is, really. They are thirsting for a 350-400 yard game. The idea that Jameis Winston is going to come in and play like a star and lead us to wins is ludacris. He's the 3rd fuging string for a 2-5 team and has played horrible for years now. Sure, passing numbers will go up but you'll also get a lot of dumb plays, pick 6's, and incompletions en route to a frustrating bad offensive performance, just in a different way. I think these people are yearning for another Delhomme situation, and the odds of that happening are very very slim. It's way more likely Howell or Jameis comes in and looks like Jack Plummer or Andy Dalton did in the preseason. There just isn't that much good quarterbacking in this league right now. And if we draft another QB in the first round, there is a good chance they bust. It's not a guaranteed carrot. The reality is, as mediocre as Bryce has been, the risk of bringing someone else in in-season and releasing Bryce becuase you aren't happy with his current performance is staggeringly high. Don't want to re-up his contract and search for a solution in the offseason? Sure, I'm on board. Bryce hasn't been good enough to warrant a second contract. But It is very. very unlikely that bringing someone else in midseason is going to give this team more wins.
  7. Exactly zero people on the coaching staff or front office are hoping the Panthers get utterly destroyed. This is why people can't take the constant Bryce bashing seriously. Get a clue
  8. So, you want to trade for a top 8 pro-bowl level QB with a day 3 pick. Got it If only it were that easy amirite
  9. Green Bay looks very beatable, and is frankly pretty disappointing. Would be really nice to get one win out of the next 2 games, but with Dalton we have zero chance
  10. This year he has reverted to panicking in the pocket, whereas the Philly, KC, Atlanta, Tampa games last year he was much more pocket aware didn't panic when something went wrong, and moved out and escaped pressure. It's my #1 thing I hate about a QB, and why I hated Darnold when he was here (Darnold has been much better since leaving)
  11. He's good at plays like the TD to Legette to go up 10-3.. Dalton couldn't pull something like that off. And he's been pretty good at 4th down throws in his career, like the one to Renfrow last week. But his inability to want to throw downfield coupled with the fact that the NFL meta is to have a QB that can pick up a few yards on the ground in 3rd and 4th and 1 will be his downfall
  12. I was hoping he would be more Mushin, but he reminds me so much of Funchess. His speed hasn't translated to the NFL game yet. He can't catch with his hands yet, he also doesn't trust his hands so he jumps up to body catch which means he can't accumulate YAC. He is a little herky/jerky on the field. The problem is he's already 24, so he's behind the 8-ball. But yes, I applaud him focusing, blocking, and getting better these last few weeks. Because Week 1 he was horrendous.
  13. If you laughed at Fields today, Hooker is Fields without the rushing ability. You cannot be serious about putting Hooker in, its an instant lose every time
  14. We also beat one of the best (statistically) teams in the league 30-0. Why didn't you mention that?
  15. There will be a post or thread completely unrelated to Bryce, and you interject and say "doesn't matter Bryce sucks I'm not watching" and then argue with people who respond to you, its a cycle. I don't think Bryce is the answer either, but exhausting trying to read this forum
  16. I really can't believe the Jets just punted there. Glenn will be 1 and done
  17. Jets can only win this game if they put in Tyrod. Fields is completely broken
  18. Holy poop the Jets are so scared of the run, they are biting hard
  19. We cannot lose to this QB. We just can't. If Canales wants to be a serious coach, you can't lose this game
  20. If Rico comes out hot this next drive, I think you just have to tell Chuba...sorry
  21. Not only this audio, but I love how Fox forces 720p resolution for local games in the year 2025
  22. Trevor was hyped as the next Peyton Manning. He is really bad. Jacksonville is locked into him, no? They should look into drafting a QB in the 1st and let them sit behind Trevor or a year or two then dump him
  23. CRA doesn't open game day threads, only Bryce Young threads... I think he gets alerts on his phone whenever a new thread about Bryce is mentioned, so he can drop everything and post
  24. Doesn't surprise me, Renfrow looks physically weak and slow out there. He needs a full season of sitting and training, hopefully he continues to work at it and not retire
