  1. I'm relieved we didn't trade any picks for players. Fitt has been decent in the draft so far, even with Rhule's influence.
  2. This year's QB class is looking to be historically bad... Pickett is a turnover machine ala Bortles and Willis can't complete a pass, meanwhile we got one of the best LT in the NFL already....I'd say they made the right decision kicking the can another year 2020... Neither Fields or Mac Jones (or Wilson...or Lance) look to be great QB's.
  3. DJ doesn't strike me as the type of guy to care (at this point) about winning championships, just getting stats and being a star
  4. How many years in a row can the Lions be rebuilding? At least we aren't them
  5. Fitt has also hit in the first round so far, with Horn and Ickey looking like top 5 players at their position despite being so young Changed my mind, I'll do this trade
  6. On the fence. I would take 2 firsts for Burns for sure, but I'd rather one be next year's draft, not have to wait that long.
  7. No because I think he's going to ride PJ all season but PJ is wildly inaccurate and will miss throws that will lose us some games Also the defense was questionable today and he's a defensive coach
  8. I agree, he's put up solid numbers but he's not a gamebreaking WR like Tyreke/Jamarr/Justin J/Deebo to warrant not accepting a first for him. He doesn't have the separation and speed those players do. If the Giants want him for a 1st, I say do it.
  9. Not that I agree with these grades, but I did notice Jackson getting cooked most of the afternoon. Why did we give him all that money again? Because he got cooked last season too. Should have just went with Gilmore, even at his age he's better
  10. Yeah I'm taking the picks. Try to get 1 or 2 firsts for DJ Moore too and in 2 years we have a ton of cap space and young talent as long as Fitt drafts well, and so far he has shown he's been a good draft and FA evaluator
  11. Seattle is the best team in that division, someone is going to win a lot if they bet that before the season 49ers have a lot of holes, I think those picks will be good this year
  12. I think we will still be very bad the rest of the way, but this was much needed. Therapeutic.
  13. Beautiful route and catch by Tremble, saw it developing
  14. San Fran already had one of the best run games, I'm not sure this makes them that much better. I think they will finish around 8-9 or 9-8. They have a tough schedule and a lot of holes. Still hurts to see him in another uniform, but it's good that we did him right
  15. Stroud reminds me of Jason Campbell I'd go for Young if I had to choose today Maybe that will change since the NFL draft is a ridiculous 6 months away
  16. Everyone here should rather the team take gambles to be great than go with the status quo. Rhule, Darnold and Mayfield were risky gambles that failed. Sometimes gambles fail. San Fran gave up 2 firsts for Lance and that is looking like a fail. Some of the same posters here bashing Tepper/Fitt wanted to trade up for Lance or take Fields. Fail. Meanwhile teams like the Lions are comfortable just going with the status quo. I'd rather be the Tepper/Fitt Panthers than the Lions
  17. Tell that to San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers We literally tanked in 2010 and got Cam and were in the playoffs with 12-4 record a few years later
  18. If this trade happened just 6 weeks ago, everyone would be saying this a great trade
  19. I'm excited to have the #1 pick and a franchise QB finally. Just got to trust they keep finding gems in the 2nd day like Chinn and Christensen
  20. We also can't root for him or the Niners because we now need them to lose most of their games. Maybe Jimmy G gets hurt
  21. Terrible trade. Only make sense if he wanted out.
  22. Against popular opinion, I would be thrilled with Young. Yes, he is small, but he's got incredible poise and decision making, not afraid to take the hit in order to get the home run pass, and he's a hell of a leader. I think he could end up being better than Russell Wilson.
  23. Can't they just kick the Commanders out of the NFL and have an expansion team in Washington
  24. The SEC has at least 3 quarterbacks better than any we have right now
  25. How hard is it to get a QB in here that can throw downfield? Like surely some of these college guys who went undrafted but put up crazy stats can throw the damn ball down field. At this point the Panthers should be bad, but exciting. Not bad and also horrendously boring
