REPORT: Ben Johnson wants $15 million per year

Don't go overboard. The Broncos owners are like twice as rich as Tepper and they're no where close to Musk/Bezos. I mean Musk lost 200 billion this year and it didn't know him off his perch as the richest asshole in the world. -
So, no different than any other college

Yeah, FSU got jobbed. Even without their starting QB, they should be in the playoffs. I wonder if Clemson will wait to see how FSU's freedom bid goes or if they go ahead and start their own lawsuit too.

Keeping Chris Tabor around in some capacity

Yeah, but giving up a quarter for two dimes or a dime and two nickels is dumb. That's what Fitt did that draft.

The rich get richer

It is when you don't have quality starters in place, which the Panthers didn't have except for a couple of positions. They needed starters everywhere, so taking higher talent players made a lot more sense but I remember Fitt also saying except for the top 15 or so players, he considered the talent level for the rest of the draft about the same. That should have been a huge red flag for people too, but it wasn't. Now, if you have talented starters and just need decent backups and bench guys, then yeah, quantity over quality can work since you want those guys to be cheap anyway.

The real funny part about the Huddle and Fitterer is that a lot of posters on here that are now bashing him were so excited to have a "real GM" during his first draft where he traded back so much. People were ecstatic about how he "worked" the draft adding more lower picks while a few of us were saying passing up higher caliber players for more low talent players was a mistake.

That question has such a simple one word answer, Tepper

This is a good take on the portal

Yeah, I saw a bit of the third quarter and they had had like 10 fumbles at that point and the announcers were wondering if they would break the record of 17.

I haven't watched hardly any bowl games yet, though I did see some of the App St game.

Only one bad bowl game tonight at 9, UTSA vs. Marshall on ESPN. Here's the schedule. And here's a pretty good watch that talks about the portal and the upcoming playoffs.

Panthers releasing Justin Houston… what a great signing

That was more of a Rhule signing than Fitt
