  1. If he plays Morrow after that game 1 disaster, it will make me question his decision making abilities going forward and honestly make me want him fired just for sheer stupidity and being a stubborn hard headed nincompoop
  2. Did he really just say that Morrow is in consideration???? If he plays Morrow after that game 1 I'm out on him as a coach and that should get him fired immediately before the game.
  3. Baker should be higher and Geno should be lower but that's about all I can see definitely wrong with the list. Really good list actually. Neither should move drastically, maybe swap them and it looks good.
  4. LFG CANES!!!! I can't watch tonight as I have surgery in the morning. Here's hoping that chatty can play near or at 100%. If not hopefully someone locks Morrow out of the rink or in a closet somewhere so Nikishin can take his place.
  5. Not an opinion though. He was factually directly responsible for 3 goals. He was factually -3 in 12 minutes of ice time. He factually had a -4.5GS. It's a fact that in the 48 minutes without him on the Ice the game was a 2-2 draw with the Canes generally dominating play. Those are all facts and not one of them is any sort of an opinion. Let's dig deeper into facts tho. Using his game score and it's statistics. -.08 off -.07 def -1.5 net His GF% was -.33 His GA+/- was -3.208 His XGF was .41 His XGA was .47 So based on his logged ice time and the situations he was in, he should have been an even player net based on expected goals for and against. Yet factually he wasn't. So yes the evidence shows that he factually was the major reason the Canes lost. Deal with it or not but those are the facts.
  6. He had a turnover on all three goals he was on the ice for. Plus he had that god awful delay of game penalty. Like legit his GS actually shows he was the cause of the loss and he was only on the ice for 12 minutes. You remove him from that game and the Canes win or at worst go to OT. Let's put this in perspective, in 12 minutes he directly led to 3 goals against. In the 48 minutes without him on the ice it was an even-steven 2-2 game and that's disregarding that god awful delay of game penalty that led to goal number 4 of the 5 given up. I don't see how anyone could say that he didn't directly lead to the loss.
  7. Considering how bad everyone thinks they played and they didn't play that bad, they actually probably would have won or at worst gone to overtime if it wasn't for Morrow and his 3 turnovers that led directly to goals plus that god awful delay penalty that led to a fourth goal.
  8. Per reports. Jimmy Horn out performed the other WR on the field by a large margin. So that's good.
  9. It's actually increased tanking though. At least the new version with the even odds has.
  10. Williams isn't going to be here much longer. The team is all in on waiting, it's why they haven't been trying to load up the team and try to win. Also Ball wants to be here.
  11. Would give them Miller, Salune, and Bailey all at 6-8 or taller with shoes. Couple years Ball, Miller, Salune and Bailey with a center would be a possibly really good tall team that excels at perimeter defense.
  12. I was going to put goalie but I don't think they will go that direction since Freddie has been resigned.
  13. He's going to have to play most of a season while being effective shooting. Health and shot selection are huge knocks against him and he's going to have to prove he can get stronger, stay healthy and play winning basketball. Team isn't going to trade him because they expect him to make that jump. Also starting to look like Philly will take VJ, so Charlotte will end up with Bailey
  14. Got 35m in cap space and really the only true needs are a 2nd line center, 3rd pair defender and a goal scoring wing with size.
  15. Imagine what this team looks like if Marner had waived his NTC for the Canes instead of saying no. Lol
  16. I'm in a ton of pain but I'm pretty sure that both Orlov and Burns are free agents after the season ends.
  17. Yeah he could be a pretty sizable trade bait. He's one of the higher rated defense prospects in the NHL.
  18. I actually think that last night was so bad that he doesn't see the team next year unless injuries happen and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being part of the trade bait to fix the second line.
  19. Nikishin was a net positive for me because he was at least physical and his shot was an absolute bomb. Yea he made a few mistakes but not nearly as many as Morrow made last night.
  20. Yet even with all that if it wasn't for 3 turnovers by a rookie and an uncharacteristic Staal turnover. They only score 1-2 goals and that game goes into OT.
  21. Statistically he did lose the game. Either the 3 turnovers and the -3 because he cause three goals with those bad turnovers or you can go with game score and it being a -4.5. Statistically and eyeball test Morrow was so bad that I'm not sure he even gets a chance to crack the team next year.
  22. I'm trying to rack my brain but I'm not sure I've seen a player with a worse game than this one by Morrow and I've been watching Hockey for 30 years.
  23. Noooooo, he did it because Morrow is a right handed shot. :insert dumbest dumb face absolutely possible:
