The Spurs have the best record since the year started at 36-10 The Hornets right behind them at 32-14. That's not one lucky streak.
-
Knox is expected to follow Martin to UNC.
-
Just a few notes. Malone's coaching salary pool is 4m, so UNC is paying the basketball staff 12.3m a season now. Another one to look for is Brandin Knight from Rutgers, "was the lead recruiter for Ace Bailey and Ron Harper Jr." So if that comes through the coaching staff would be Michael Malone Chuck Martin (AHC) (500k salary + 70k buyout) Brandin Knight (Lead Recruiter) (400k) Sean May (350k) Pat Sullivan (400k) "Open spot" (200-300k, this could be another big pull with the available budget) Support staff Eric Hoots (180k) New GM - 1m Rest of staff and support staff budget is roughly 1.8-1.9m or so.

Philly probably goes 2-1 last three games, Orlando probably goes 1-1 in its last two. With Detroit locked and injured right now and NY locked in, pretty good chance they sit and rest or play the starters limited minutes those two games and it ends up with Philly, Orlando and Charlotte all with the same record of 45-37.

Not sure many understand how big of a hire Chuck Martin is for the program. Was Kentucky recruiter and then the associate head coach and lead recruiter at Arkansas for Cal. pretty much guarantees top 5 recruiting classes each year and a big haul from the portal. So now he's got at least Sean May, Chuck Martin, Pat Sullivan on coaching staff and Eric Hoots on support staff right now. At least two spots open on the coaching staff to go and the support staff.
-
This has been confirmed as his first outside hire. Arkansas recruiter is now UNC's recruiter and Associate head coach.
-
32-14 this year. Pretty crazy turn around.
-
Rumors are that Chuck Martin will be joining the staff as lead recruiter.

No help from Miami in game 1 of two against Toronto
-
We gonna see a fight. Lol
-
That's not good.
-
Good guys up 11 at the end of one. 31-20. Up 31-24 early in the second now.
-
They flipped a switch and have absolutely dominated this period.

I think the big reason it ended up not being a typical college coach unless it was Lloyd or May, is so that certain boosters would open up the check books. As for staff, He's expected to keep Sean May, Pat Sullivan, and Eric Hoots. I expect he'll probably try to pry Ryan Saunders from Memphis as his assistant head coach. Outside of that, not a clue.

Detroit has already locked the 1 seed up. They locked it up on Saturday when they beat the sixers.
-
Donovan was given an offer with a deadline to accept and he informed the school that he wouldn't be able to meet the deadline. May I'm not 100% was formally offered but assume he was since he was in the tier 1 list alongside both Lloyd and Donovan who got the same offer that Malone ended up taking. 5 years 8.3m average
-
Officially offered the job to Lloyd, May and Donovan. Donovan hadn't said yes or no yet but wasn't going to make a decision in time. Last three was Byington, Donovan and Malone. New AD wanted either Donovan or Malone after Lloyd and May said no.
-
Apparently Donovan was taking too long, so they went with someone who would open a certain someone's pocket and this works. He will apparently have one of if not the highest nil in the country going forward. Also to add, this is the new AD's decision mostly
-
Did not see that coming. Lol
-
76ers play the Spurs and Rockets next two games then two gimmies in Indiana and Milwaukee. So they could go 2-2 to end the season opening up a chance at the 6 seed.
-
I'm just happy the team turned the corner and looks to be somewhere between damn good to really good for the next few years health permitting
-
Fan duel is gone, and done with. Whoever they sign with for next season will only be a one year contract
-
Could be a lot more than even we'd think depending on the local tv contract and who's it with. I mean they had 6 this year.
-
They are locked into the play in, can't fall lower than 10th no matter what. .5 game back of the sixth and seventh seeds.
