Probably going to be a Patriots vs Broncos AFC CG. My two most hated teams in the AFC. fuging christ. The Bills were probably the only team left I was actively rooting for. I know the Texans have never won a Super Bowl but I'm not really a fan of their team for any particular reason. Now I just want the Pats/Broncos to lose. I guess the 49ers or Bears winning would be cool. I'd feel pretty indifferent about the Seahawks or Rams winning, because they're both good teams I'd expect to win anyways.

They both got pretty upset when we lost to the saints both times iirc. Although the closest he's really ever gotten to criticizing bryce was "we can't really do anything about him as our qb" lol

Well the argument will be if we keep winning enough games you won't ever draft high enough to replace him. Unless you trade up again or get lucky and a Lamar like player drops to you in the teens or 20s I doubt they'll have incentive to replace him unless the team noticeably dips in W-L record next year.

There's been several reports that this would happen for quite a while now. Oddly high amount of people acting surprised about it on social media. If anything this shows that they aren't confident enough to give him a big contract yet and they want him to put togethet a consistently good or great season You don't give a qb that struggles to get above 200 yards and 1 TD most of his games a big ass contract. You only give a huge contact quickly to QBs that you know are that dude. Burrow got his after 2.5 seasons of play essentially, Mahomes got his after only 2 seasons starting. Bryce is nowhere near their level.
