  1. I thought he made a really good play on the ball. Just a better throw from their qb.
  2. Here’s what I dont understand. We basically played the same game against New Orleans that lost us the first matchup. Why not let Bryce turn it loose. What an absolute perfect opportunity for the franchise to fully evaluate him in these final four games. if he absolutely falls on his face, you have your definitive answer and will have no issue selling it to your fanbase that you’re moving on. You will have constructed a good core of offensive players that you should be able to plug a vet into and see similar if not better results. If he balls out, you’ll have all the evidence you need to speak about growth and giving the fifth year option won’t be as tough a pill to swallow. You’ll also be a playoff team in year two and be flirting with double digit wins. if it’s uneven, which it likely would be, you can talk about growth and being ahead of schedule with the roster and go into next year with some time on your hands before needing to make a decision on the fifth year. the absolute last thing you needed to do was put up another game where there’s more questions than answers about your QBs ability and the trust you have in him. Canales and his staff were horrendous yesterday.
  3. The play call had potential to be great had the pitch to Dowdle been the call. We had run Chuba on that play already, why not pitch it out to Dowdle and let him make the corner miss for probably a 15+ yard gain at minimum.
  4. We were 6-1 in one score games this year. This season is a total mirage. This is a four win team masquerading as a division contender.
  5. 81% of bets on panthers moneyline and 79% on panthers spread. if this game is close in the fourth, Vegas will make the call.
  6. Dave needs some help with time management in the two minute warning. no sense in not calling a timeout after that tet catch.
  7. I like Evero. with the mismanagement of draft picks and an entire offseason last year dedicated to helping prop Bryce up; I don’t think there’s a coordinator in the league who was given less to work with than him. He’s definitely gone though. Not being under contract this late into a turnaround year and coupled with the fact that we blocked him from interviewing is all the writing on the wall I need to see.
  8. Yep. Panthers in just enough to cover the spread but rams still win so the moneyline payouts aren’t crazy.
  9. NFL continues to fix games to keep playoff races close down the stretch. Panthers win vs Rams keeps them in lock step with the Bucs making for a competitive race in the south and also keeps their week 17 game against Seattle (which will most likely be a national game on a Saturday) important. Rams lose resulting in a tightening of the nfc west which coincides with those teams playing against each other multiple times down the stretch with some of those games in primetime. Panthers benefit from some roughing the passer calls that are questionable and some phantom holds on the rams oline which derails drives. Rams losing outright also immensely helps Vegas as I’d imagine almost every moneyline parlay has the rams sprinkled in.
  10. Somebody get the Jim Mora gif ready in 3….2…1…. For those of you who care, the path to the playoffs is really clear cut and Sundays game against the Rams nor Tampas games against the cupcakes they have remaining factor in really at all. In all likelihood the only way the Panthers are playing in the second week of January is if they win the division. The loss to the niners did a lot of damage to any wildcard hopes they may have. The formula to win the division is pretty simple. After the bye week, if Carolina wins their final four games (at NO, vs Tampa, vs Seattle, and at Tampa) they are NFC South Champs. In that scenario, they finish 10-7 and the Bucs best possible finish would be 10-7 as well. The Panthers would win a tiebreaker with a 5-1 division record. Ironically, the late season bye comes at a perfect time. Get healthy and try and win four in a row. With Canales outsmarting himself at every turn and Bryce putting up QB numbers not seen since leather helmets were worn, the thought of winning four in a row seems almost impossible, but, we at least go into December in the hunt.
  11. The league is so inconsistent with their punishments depending on what team you play for. Amon Ra throws a punch at Daron Payne and gets nothing. Payne retaliates and throws one at Amon Ra and gets ejected and a game suspension. NFL wasn’t about to be penalize one of the lions premier players with a game against the eagles coming up, but suspending Payne doesn’t matter since he’s on a losing commanders team. I bet Moehrig gets a game
  12. Clock actually starts when the play clock hits 35 seconds above five minutes. when it’s less than five mins, it stops.
  13. Evero deserves some credit for mixing in the man with his zone tonight. I know they’ve moved the ball at will but his unit has given this team an opportunity to win this game by double digits.
  14. Zero penalties. But they’ll come once the niners have the 14 point lead and game in hand. they’ll walk us down the field with penalties late in the fourth to back door the spread.
  15. So we’re owed a drive killing holding penalty on this drive, right??? Right?????
  16. Canales looked at last weeks game plan and said, nah, I like what we did against New Orleans much better.
  17. This game is on razors edge from getting ugly quick. Offense looks listless.
  18. It’s a walk in touchdown. That ball has to be thrown to the back corner, ran in for a td, or r thrown away and live to play second down from the one. Bryce just continually shoots the offense in the foot.
  19. Tyreek Hill completely broke this rule when he played for the chiefs.
  20. Cross country Monday nighter against a playoff team that is getting healthy against a coach who we haven’t fared well against in a long time. Im expecting a beat down. Hoping for a close game though.
  21. Man, what a home run of a free agent signing he was. Leadership was not something I expected him to bring to the table but he absolutely does it. Guys follow his lead and energy.
