We’re going to have to let Bryce fully sink. He’s going to have to be told that he needs to hit some shots downfield. if you are coaching in a manner where you believe he is completely incapable of that, then you pull the plug now. all that is moot if your boss, the owner, is mandating Bryce be played to save face.

This offense has scored 45 points the last four games. that is horrendous.

Not sure there’s a team in the league that can overcome this level of qb play. Doesn’t matter how good their skill guys are.

I think we split with the saints, split with the Bucs and lose to the falcons on the road. I think we win one of the nfc west games but I’m not sure which one. I’ll go Seattle just for the heck of it. leaves us at 8-9 on the outside looking in, but a respectable season put forward by Dan and Dave in year two of a rebuild. This season will be a “what if” for a while especially given the two winnable games that were dropped in the first two weeks.

Leaving your starting qb who is coming off an injury in a 38-7 blowout is a fireable offense. id be livid with Dan Quinn if I was a commander fan.

100% correct. we also have a team that is completely incapable of responding to adversity. The first sign of trouble and the team just unravels. I think that says a lot about coaching more than anything. It can also be explained with the amount of youth we have playing key roles on offense and defense.

They are going to take advantage of our youth and inexperience at defensive end with zone reads with fields. if you’re a betting man, I’d put a decent chunk in fields at 60+ rushing yards Sunday.

I feel like Young lost a year with the Reich-Thomas Brown debacle in year one and that really hampered some growth he may have had. With that said, he’s played enough games for me to just not see a franchise qb. I think there is a path for him to be a serviceable qb with a strong running game, good offensive line, and good defense. He could probably be a qb that could win a division in the right circumstances. But it’d be a firm no from me on giving him a big contract at this point without him elevating his play well above where he’s played for two and a half years so far.

This 0-6 Jets team nearly won a shootout against the Steelers week one, had a lead late in the fourth against the 5-1 Bucs in Tampa, and played a 4-2 Denver team within two with a historically bad passing performance. we shouldn’t be favored in this game especially with our troubles on the road.
