Well, as soon as I say that, they get two stupid penalties.

New England's defense is suffocating Allen and company tonight.

Was Horn shadowing Waller after the 1st Q?

If Horn was shadowing anyone, it would have been Waddle. -
Can't believe no one mentioned Moehrig in terms of run defense. The panthers post game radio show was singing his praises. Three TFL from a safety is a rare thing.

Rico Dowdle is an absolute dawg

Miami has a very bad run defense, and we took advantage of it. That is how you do it. -
Duke is pulling away now in the 4th qtr. Up 17 with 10 minutes left.
-
That was one heck of a call that was well executed, and a great deep ball by Beck and Miami.
-
Klubnick with a 254 QBRating today.
-
That was a terrible missed call.
-
Wow, heck of a throw and catch on 4th down.
-
FSU is going to have one last shot.
-
Bad decision and bad execution on a 4th and 1. Should have ran the ball in that spot. UVA is in the drivers seat now. One maybe two first downs and FSU is done.
-
FSU is struggling tonight. In sports, never assume anything.
-
Wentz is their QB for now and he got more targets from Mccarthy than he did from Wentz.
-
A very good chance after the penalty,
-
And a great throw by Murray. That is what I always seem with Murray, several highlight reel plays, along with several wtf plays.
-
Darnold has definitely improved over the years. Murray has not.
-
Arizona seems to have a decent defense, and a not so good offense.
-
Not really, I mean if he comes in next year and plays well, and gives us a good solid 5-6 years, it would be worth the pick. Although I don't think that is likely with the injuries. But even if he plays well the next couple of years, I wouldn't give him a significant contract beyond his initial four years.

Steve Smith has a few disadvantages though. 1. There is a glut of Wide Receivers in or being considered. It shouldn't matter, but it might. 2. He isn't the most diplomatic fella. Also shouldn't matter, but it might. 3. No ring. Definitely shouldn't matter, but it might. If he had one, that might get him in over some of the others. I think Luke is the most likely Panther to get in. -
Schefter: Tet McMillan did not practice today (calf)

Maybe, but I also wonder if having almost an entirely different group of receivers than he did last year has a little bit to do with it. Our starters against Atlanta in the last game last year were Thielen, Coker, and Legette with Moore coming in. Legette is struggling, and might be gone after this season if things don't turn around. Coker is out, and Thielen is gone. TMac is a big improvement, but still a rookie. Renfrow and Young just look out of sync. If they can get in sync and Coker comes back, we could see an improvement. -
Jared Feinberg's Falcons v Panthers film breakdown

If you look at Bijan's running on first down, almost all his attempts got 2-3 yards. He had only 3 decent to good runs in all of the first half. We were slowing him down on first down, forcing them to rely more of the passing game with 2nd or 3rd and 7's. The run game might fail again next week, but we did a much better job against Bijan than we did in week one against Jacksonville and against arguably a better back. -

I wish we had Thielen right about now. -
We also don't know what we are. In the first two games, turnovers killed us, and made the defense look worse than it actually was. We also have a lot of new guys learning their roles. During the first game, I listened to the Radio broadcast, and Luke basically said that our defense was pretty good when playing straight up, but got confused and out of place when the offense motioned. I think that is due to young/inexperienced players on defense, especially at linebacker.

So their offense is the worst in the NFL, and they cut a safety? Must be something behind the scenes.
