  1. I saw it Saturday night. A little slow for the first 30-45 minutes, but then it really picked up. The Dog was the best part imo.
  2. Only time will tell if he was worth the pick. The Titans had to pick a qb. Cam Ward was the best one available. There really isn't much to discuss beyond that.
  3. If the majority of teams are guaranteeing most of a second rounder's contract, then the impact to our team specifically won't be that bad. Whether it will be bad to the NFL as a whole remains to be seen.
  4. I feel that the whole Tepper is to involved in running the team thing was greatly overblown. IMO, Tepper's biggest mistake was hiring bad coaches and bad GM's to run things. So far at least, results under Morgan and Canales appear to be better, but we will see.
  5. Adam Thielen has some of the best hands we have ever had on the Panthers. He makes some fantastic catches. Its always good to have that one veteran guy a qb can rely on when the game is on the line.
  6. Seeing Curtis Samuel back in a Panthers uniform would be interesting.
  7. I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength. While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line. Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
  8. we will see how it goes. I am a pretty big guy, but relatively quiet. A combination that usually keeps me out of trouble.
  9. I read the actual article, not the twitter crap. Its really just the author posting random crazy stuff because he is bored. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/five-wild-nba-style-trade-proposals-for-the-nfl-including-dolphins-49ers-qb-shakeup-justin-jefferson-splash/
  10. I have never attended a Panthers road game. Looks like I will be attending the Panthers at Jets game this year though. Here's hoping the Jets suck and the tickets are cheap.
  11. Thousand different pundits out there and i think some make picks like this just to sepárate themselves from the others. I just hope we show some improvement. And i think we will.
  12. Don't care. We have two thousand yard rushers. The receiving group is pretty much the same, except that we added a first round pick and Renfrow. Tight End group is the same. Just goes to show how arbitrary some of these rankings are. It was basically they were bad last year (at least to start the year) so they will be even worse this year.
  13. The projection makes no sense. 28 last year, 31 this year?
  14. At this point, I only care what he does in 2025.
  15. I don't think we are getting that much "hype". There are thousands of sports analyst today, with each one striving to be different from the others. So it stands to reason a few of them are going to say positive things about us. Most of the major publications are going to have us down until we prove something on the field.
  16. It sounds like they are having second thoughts about drafting him and tried to insert some weird unique clause into his contract. They screwed up and now they have to pay the piper.
  17. I am fairly certain the OP's comment was not serious.
  18. We have one guy here who played with Norman. I am sure there are a few guys working for the team that were here in 2015, might be people we would never hear about though.
  19. That year was good, but I think 2002 was our best. Peppers, Rucker, Fields, Jenkins, Buckner, Dan Morgan, and Al Wallace gave us a lethal front 7, and we played a very aggressive style of defense. Unfortunately, the offense that year was offensive.
  20. From what I have read of him, some of the things he did might now be considered criminal now.
  21. Sounds good, but I will wait until I see it on the field.
  22. I have to disagree with you on this. Outside of Nabors, there is not a single player on the Giants offense that I would want to start in place of our starters. Their dline is decent, but the rest of the team is not good at all. I might take Gano back. There is a reason both of those teams drafted ahead of us, they needed to revamp their talent.
  23. We were not botton 5 last year imo. The oline was to good to be bottom 5. Maybe bottom ten.
  24. The Running back group imo, should be very good. Oline is probably the best we have had since the roided up first SB run. Wide Receiver group is interesting. Main questions on offense are can Young continue to play as he did in the last 6 or so games. And how good are the TE's. On defense, its a little more suspect, but we certainly could be better than last year.
