  1. It is also being thrown into the fire and having everything elevated in the moment. He went from back up spot snaps to Shaq, Josey going down and then he's thrown out there with task of leading the defense against the Bengals. I firmly believe though that the reason we are getting such crap football across the league is because these players are out of shape due to reduced practice time during training camp. Two a days are necessary and yeah it sucks players union, but it is a right of passage and they are being paid well. It has hindered rookie development, OL development, and offensive cohesion across the league.
  2. Hit them with that knowledge! We have a chance!
  3. Seeing Henry run that touchdown on Sunday night shows that you do need good rbs! Chuba is doing well, but we do need an upgrade. A great rb would've got in the endzone on 4th down on Sunday and the game would've looked much differently. We were not going to be good this year, so this pick was fine. If this kid is breaking 50+ yard runs in two years who cares what happened this year. Kamara was viewed as a horrible pick in the 3rd for the Saints. Over analyzing picks within the first 4 weeks of the season is hilariously ludicrous.
  4. I thought that Smith-Wade was supposed to be coming along so well. Why is not getting to see the field at all? Troy Hill is entering human pylon status. He's made one play in the time he's been here?
  5. Barno's perceived impact aside, I am excited for the other guys listed to be involved. Wonnum was productive and due to break out, but just tore his hamstring off the bone. Brooks could be our new franchise back and contrary to popular belief, game changing running backs are still very important. As always Franklin's impact on STs is always a big deal.
  6. That emotion came from a guy who knows his schemes work, is confident in his system, knows he might've got this job earlier than some pundits thought he deserved, and was like I'm not gonna let this little person ruin this chance. I believe there was a rapper that made a song with lyrics about not missing your opportunity to blow cause you only get one shot! Canales is going to do everything to seize this opportunity come hell or high watermelon and I can dig it!
  7. This dude was a great pickup as he truly was the odd man out in Seattle because of age and flexibility on his contract. The defense is just going to continue to gel. They looked like a unit figuring it out yesterday. Still one big play over the top, but they shut some things down and Devante didn't hurt us at all.
  8. It's been awhile, since I could hold my head up high. Aaaaaaaand everything I caaaaaaan't remember!
  9. I know that's right! If anyone had the stones to bet on the parlay yesterday, Dalton 250 plus, a TD, Chuba 50 plus, a TD, and Johnson 50 plus, a TD at +850 would've ate heartily! Yesterday was the day to make money!
  10. Yeah dude has looked like Philly Sanders for exactly one play out of his tenure. Easy to get big gains with everyone worrying if your QB is going to pull it and run. He almost got the ball ripped out today and I was like he better not be the damper on today!
  11. There was a play in the second half where we had an incomplete pass on an out route. Crosby who was having a terrible outing was standing there looking dejected, then Lewis comes into the frame and shoves him to the ground. It was like yeah get your b*tch ass down and make yourself comfortable there. We have some big nasty guys in the interior with bad intentions and I can dig it!
  12. This backlash has truly been sad and was part of the reason I believe Bryce was drafted in the first place. He was small and looked like a kid and everybody just loved that he was also good at football. Once I heard CJ Stroud talking on his podcast tour this summer, I was like well that is the reason he isn't here. I remember the hatred for Cam that basically arose out of him being a massive, confident, black man. Every time a new broadcast crew met him during warmups the telecast was just about how larger than life he was. I even had a friend who is close to Cam's size talk about him sucking the air out of every room goes into like being big, loud, and confident is a bad thing. And many here along with the media never showed any sympathy, empathy, or a second thought to the shite Cam had to put up with while here. Till this day it is either about the stupid fumble that didn't matter that he didn't jump on, or that he only had like one good year. So to see this crazy backlash from the sports and social media regarding Canales benching a small, weak, entitled, non verbal QB who is playing terrible, struggling to recognize defenses, missing open WRs, and leaving clean pockets is mind blowing! Only Chase Daniels watched the film before talking this week. Everyone else used it as an opportunity pine for Bryce and crap on organization. Again, I hope someone is dumb enough to give us Josh Rosen compensation for him.
  13. Outlier is the term you're looking for, absolutely nothing magical.
  14. I get that, but all of the analyst and talking heads are saying that we are the problem! My hope is there is a GM that feels the same way and is dumb with his draft picks.
  15. I can rock with that. That kid has the mentals, is tough, and is getting to sit and learn the game.
  16. You don't even have to serve it, ask for the money while the aroma wafts from the kitchen. You can even walk out and tell him to serve himself.
  17. I know that, I'm just commenting on the fact of what the optics were on the pro days.
  18. That's the guy. Can't speed him up, incredibly accurate at this point, 6'5" 6'6" tall, has no problem seeing entire field, and has verbal leadership ability.
  19. See what New England will take for Milton. If it is a 6th or lower, why not.
  20. Frank and Josh were giddy over Stroud. Frank was recording CJ's pro day on his phone and had a wide grin on his face the whole time a camera was on him. Josh was joking around hugging CJ and running him through drills. Nicole and CJ work with the same charity. Only Nicole, Fitterer, and Dave were giddy after Bryce's scripted malarkey.
  21. Oh I know, and it seems that the entire team felt this way. Once they seen the tape it was undeniable!
  22. I watched a lot of Texans games last year because I like pain. Now though I just stay tuned into Panther football just to see if they become the next Browns. There is excitement maybe once every two years.
