Only way that'd make any sense is if you go big in FA/trade for a pass rusher. Even then we need a burner/good route runner that can catch and that can be gotten later or in FA

McDermott obviously has more experience doing it, I guess my only concern would be he likes to play things similarly to Evero..ie soft coverage and hopefully your passrush gets there or rushes the throw. We have good corners so personally I think the best way to use them is to play more aggressively on D. I'd like a coordinator that will do that

Agree with all of that...I think folks are discounting that they had a monster oline , chubbs, hunt, baker, obj, Myles Garrett and some really good rosters and couldn't figure it out... I don't get the fear that he's going to in Atlanta

A legit pass rusher like Crosby would make the whole D instantly a lot better..teams can't just focus on DB and pulls attention from Scourton/Princely while they keep developing. Our DBs stop getting hung out to dry trying to cover 5+ seconds. Yes I know him or someone that quality will cost but you'd rather do it while we still have a rookie QB contract and it's a lot easier to find a great MLB at 19 than a pass rusher

Totally agree. Evero with all the dbs 10 -15 off was it for me.Big contrast with DCcause we saw McVeigh call timeouts at the end to see how we were going to line up, make sure they're on same page etc. just methodical. Hopefully just lack of experience/learning point and DC self scouts and does better. Ending that kinda game with all our timeouts is something that should never happen. Doesn't mean it'd have changed the outcome but you gotta use every tool you have

With the way reclamation act QBs are working out our best bang for the buck might be bringing in Sam Howell , Zack Wilson and whomever else off the bargain bin with a mid pick and let them duke it out

With Bryce's skills/limitations AND the oline injuries their only chance to win is dominant run game, good D , small ball it/hopefully some really good PA/bootleg/misdirection. Rico's the man...treat him like prime Arian Foster and let's roll

Right...I've seen plays where he has to make a miraculous catch for an 8-12yd pass that if put on the money he could catch and keep running. And he's only going to get better

Right i see wr’s getting open regularly. It’s hard to blame the receivers when 2/3s of the throws I see are him sailing the ball 3 feet over or 5 yards short into the turf. Man it’s hard to watch

Yeah people are crazy that’s an all QB issue. You can scheme away( IF the coaches adjust) certain things but also teams are searching for a weakness. Best move right now is to give Bryce a chance to be the guy. If he’s not the answer the next QB walks into a much better situation
