    Agree. Record means very little if anything. The play and performance is foreshadowing I fear.

    I think XL the person is great and that story, which is very cool, is not really surprising. I just want XL the NFL football player to take a step forward.

    He looked comfortable and in control of the offense. Not a big sample size so I don’t personally put too much weight on the passer rating. He did pass the eye test though which is comforting to me.

    Special teams look to be in mid season form thus far.

    From what I hear we might get two series of plays max out of the starters. If there is an expectation for perfection and highlight reels then prepare to be disappointed. I hope the team (BY in particular) doesn't look bad but I don't expect much more than competent play.

    I still have my reservations about XL but this is a very good distinction. Give me XL all day over TMJ.

    This situation is similar to the one at the safety position. We need a band aid. Wait for cuts and look at that coupled with the remaining free agents still available. Dan can find an equal or better replacement without overpaying. Probably not going to fall into a Luvu like player but the team will be able to get by.

    FWIW I dont think any QB has ever averaged 4 TD passes per game for an entire season. Not saying Bryce doesn't have to prove a lot this year but we have to have human level expectations.

    Miles is no longer on the team so that one definitely is out.

    I think you are correct from an all out public opinion but I am more worried about the Defense not making Shedeur look like a pro bowl vet than anything.

    It’s a refreshing problem to have imo. I think guys like Theilen and Renfro can push these younger guys a bit which helps in their growth. Competition not limited to just Sunday afternoon.

    I know nothing about these ratings but I heard on the radio that he had a rating of 75. FWIW Cam Ward was rated with a 71. If he catches the ball a bunch he will be fine.

    I agree with everyone else but just wanted to thank you as I now know there is a thing called a charizard and with the help of google, know what it is.
