    Is there a QB worth our only pick in the draft?

    The answer is nuanced. Who is available? If I had my pick I’d go line first then go get my guy. But if you think your QB is there you go get him and then try every thing possible to protect him. For some reason this franchise believes that the offensive line can be cobbled together from spare parts and dime store rentals. Dumpster diving for linemen will get a QB merked.

    That’s going league wide. Players are too protective of themselves to risk jumping in a scrum. Dudes still do it, just not like in the past.

    2 of those kept us in the basement like a good small market. 1 shattered thru and made us relevant against all odds. You don’t win unless it’s good for the league.

    The only answer is that they thought they had. Any other option requires ignorance bordering on the impossible, or malice of equaling improbability. They (wrongly) believed their moves were sufficient to field a winning team.

    Carolina QBs don’t slide. They either score or get blown the fug up. It’s tradition.

    It’s not a theory it’s common practice. Sam/CMC/Robby/DJ/TM is a much more difficult task to plan for than PJ/Chuba/Robby/DJ/“x”

    If PJ throws the ball 34 times, then we got blown out. Everybody on planet earth knows the run is coming. 4 quarters of trench warfare. We have no choice. Bill will cook PJ if given the chance. So, don’t give him the chance. Line up, put a hat on a hat and start pushing.

    Haha, exactly. To be fair, that’s classic pro-athlete uber-competitive jock talk. Like coach speak. ie: “Let’s Go!” “All Day!” “You been watching film huh? Watch This” Given the above, I’ll credit the hashtag to player speak. But like you said, the noise will only get louder now that they know he will respond publicly.

    Yeah but players only want to be talked about when it’s good. You start pointing out flaws and all of a sudden it’s, #justshutupandwatch. I guess at least he didn’t say #shutupandplay or the world would have ended.
