No matter how many times it’s said, they just can’t hear it or don’t want to.  Either way it’s tiresome having to point it out every single time.  The kid can’t play at this level.  Period.

Other teams have players on the practice squad that are better than our starters.

The fact that the thing he’s best at, cost the most money, and received the most influx of talent, is still a smoldering dumpster fire is about all the proof one should need.

Oh, in terms of how the team will screw it up?  Sure I can see them benching him and trying to win games.  But this team has zero shot to accomplish anything other than messing up their own draft position.

Nothing good can come from benching him.  In order to get better we have to have a top pick.  Leaving my little pony in the backfield is the sure fire way to get the top pick.

Canales is his own worst enemy right now.  Playing Bryce, keeping Evero, not having a real OC.  He set himself up to fail and he’s failing spectacularly.  I expect to see him double down, be stubborn and sink with the ship.  He’s cooked.
