You would need to filter for postseason STARTS, actually. It's why I eliminated all Super Bowl criteria. Backups get rings too.
If you come up with a workable tier system, post it and I will try the 1st rounders as a test to see the results.
I’m not sure it would be useful in determining the success rate of a given round.

So how would you tier that?
I’ve been thinking about it since I said it. 1st rounders would be expected to make multiple psa’s. But you’re right, after that there are no real expectations as it’s a shot in the dark for QBs that aren’t drafted in the 1st.
Add to that, it’s kind of an inverse effect. The later the QB is drafted, the better the team (potentially) they go to. So you could actually set the bar higher in this category for QBs drafted in the later rounds?

That's hard to quantify and I think a little unfair since most of these QB's end up with dumpster fire franchises.
What would be the way you would include that? Win percentage? Total wins?
How do you account for guys that just end up on shitty teams(Stafford pre-Rams, for example)?
Not against it, I just don't know how to do that and be fair across all those tiers.
Post season appearances.

Clear cap space or add picks.
Those are the only 2 reasons we should even pick up the phone.

That should get someone fired. It won’t, but it should.

also it’s the dolphins. Lots of players are gonna get an extra bye for the rest of the year.
Didn’t some Mike McD / Tua beef just drop?

It was never a high ankle sprain and I don't think team ever said that. He got cleated on the calf. Seems like something you could tough out
Coach called it an ankle, and every talking head said high ankle sprain. Just going off what was reported. Don’t care either way.

I wish it showed what the mascot did. I’m guessing he snatched Cams hat.

I think Bryce does have a clutch factor to him. If he could just drop a few bombs a game he’d be fine.
Well yeah…something about bullfrogs and wings.

What is it ranked currently, #7 overall?
Overall? I think so. But surely you aren’t trying to justify allowing the opposing offense to matchup their #1 WR against MJ by simply switching sides?
The defense is playing much better this year and could potentially play even better by allowing Horn to shadow the best WR.
-
Last year teams didn’t have to throw against us. Jackson is strong in run support and can cover average WRs. Asking him to pick up the other teams number 1 WR is the height of stupidity when you have Horn. Again Evero and his retarded system puts us at a disadvantage before the snap. Good teams will exploit this over and over again.

I see Eli Manning is a finalist. Why?
The asterisk is denoting last year’s finalists for the class of 2025.

If the offense operates at or above the level we’ve seen so far this year, that should end the Bryce debate.
If you can’t tell the difference between the #1 pick and the 37 year old back up at the end of his career, you have to move on.

Mayfield was #1 overall and brought the Browns to the playoffs.
This is glossed over so easily. He took the Browns to the playoffs. Is it any wonder that once he got to a competent organization he’s playing at an MVP level?

That is pretty close to the plan. Long, time consuming drives should be the strategy. Do not get into a shootout with Josh Allen. We would be bringing a slingshot to a gunfight in that scenario.
1st&10- 9 yard run
Delay of game
2nd&6 - 5 yard run
Delay of game
3rd&6 -6 yard run
rinse and repeat =30 min drive.

We have a better chance in the home games. The road games are out of the question. If we can snag 1 or 2 of those home games I would consider that a huge success.
1-4 or 2-3 is about the best you can hope for from that schedule. 0-5 is also a very real possibility.

No victory Mondays. I love DB. This is the attitude we’ve been missing as a team.

They need to look like they’re good at football. It still looks like they could implode at any moment.
Grinding out a win is cool, but at some point you have to be able to look at the product and say, “yeah, that’s it right there”. We can’t say that yet.

We won’t win many games playing the way we played today. (On offense)

To be fair this game went just about exactly the way I thought it would.
We basically just played our doppelgänger.
Bryce looked ineffective and flaccid. And we shot ourselves in the foot trying to shove Chubba back into the fold. Dowdle was still the more effective back. Coaching is to blame.
