Cam Newton struggled…until real football had to be played.  Then smashed the record books out the gate.  Ron couldn’t find the work to gift him the job over Clausen.  Think a run vs the Bengals is what Ron used as the reasoning (I mean it was good).  But Cam struggled until that week 1 game.

After a disappointing year 2, he really turned it on.  When he “wants to” there is no stopping him.  Glad to have him.

Getting that ‘25 2nd was one of if not the biggest boon of the draft for us.

Each season the FO has to set budgets for each position group.  Allotting resources based on priority and availability.  After spending the already mentioned $100 mil in FA, they maxed the budget on the oline for this year.  Remaining resources had to be used elsewhere even if the line remains unfinished.  The roster was far too depleted to fix in one go.

With an owner like Tepper, how cautious can the folks that work for him afford to be?  What you're saying makes perfect sense and is the optimal way to manage the situation, but sorry to say, there is nothing perfect nor ideal about our situation.  He will most likely be rushed and if even moderately successful, heavily burdened early and often.

Lots of agro huddlers complaining.  You guys are too much, lol.

If the OLB/Edge guys weren’t “coached up” wouldn’t it stand to reason that guys like Mingo and Tremble also will benefit from some coaching?  
 

Evero has done his job better than most everyone else in the building and now we have some guys on the other side of the ball that can teach as well.  
 

I’m curious to see how good this chicken salad can actually be given the ingredients on hand.

I agree that we’re down bad, but if it takes 4 years to fix, then it’s never getting fixed.  Nobody gets 4 years.  Not the QB, not the Coach not the GM.  Nobody.

If we aren’t contending after 2 years we’ll see another reboot/rebuild and then another and another.  And this will reveal the true issue that we already know… It’s the owner.

Had to have a stent put in because they found a 95% blockage in my left descending artery. I'm told that particular blockage kills a lot of people, so I'm lucky.

Currently dealing with low blood oxygen. They haven't been able to figure out the cause yet so I'm on oxygen a lot and my energy isn't so great.

To top it all off, my vision isn't so good right now. Likely will have to have cataract surgery sometime soon.

So not online much still pulling for the team.

Steelers acquired Wilson and Fields for less than we spent on Sam Darnold.  It’s what they have won every season for a decade plus and we are the worst in all pro sports.

Fields wouldn’t get us where we want to go so ultimately pointless.
