I just want my pat on the back for saying this first lol
It was so outlandish at the time it was never mentioned in the possible scenarios. Now here we are. That’s funny stuff.

If the Falcons played every Sunday like they did last night they’d be more than the best team in the NFCS.

Title says it all, if you could get swap Jaycee Horn for Brian Burns would you do it?
You should never make a strength weaker, just to make a weakness not as weak.
When we had Burns and Jaycee was hurt, teams would just run 3 step drops or run directly at BB.
With Jaycee staying healthier we get 5 Ints and a few coverage sacks along the way. Jaycee also has been sent on blitzes with success.
It would be nice to have Burns… and CMC… and DJ… but I digress, the answer is no.

Steelers vs. Ravens is a bit of a slap fight too. Neither of those teams is going anywhere.
Besides the history of this matchup, the current teams don’t offer much.

Go put Dalton out there and hand it off to Etienne out there and let him get some reps.
This is the correct answer.

I changed my mind. After today he’s the dumbest fugger to ever suit up in Charlotte that didn’t try to have his gf killed.
Him and the midget QB can carpool back to who gives a fug.

Ive never seen something that rose to the level of cuckoldry as I did today. I’m not a Tepper guy, but I’d drag Dave Canales into my office by his ear and verbally abuse him for hours.
That should never under any circumstances happen AT HOME in front of the HOME FANS.
Very near a fireable offense. Don’t ever ever do that poo again.

Bryce throws 18 check downs and it’s the play call? Ok. You guys are something else.

As much as I dislike Evarjo the soft zones and bend don't break is a result of having no pass rush....
EE consistently drops his best pass rush option into coverage in terrible situations.

Speak it into existence.

We went from 32nd to 13th in scoring defense. What more realistically can we expect?
The statistical improvement is fine. An influx of new players and one Derrick Brown returning from injury has made a huge difference.
The positions they are put in by the scheme is still the same. Soft zones, no QB pressure, odd personnel decisions, and a frustratingly inconsistent bend but don’t break philosophy, don’t inspire confidence.

2. He isn't the best fit(IMO) for the scheme that Evero runs
Just as an aside, what exactly is a good fit for this… (scheme?)
I’m not so sure the X’s and O’s are helping the Jimmys and Joes.

He has lived up to his draft selection. Top-10 pick is a day 1 starter, impact player and consistent contributor.
His weakest points are easily attributed to inexperience and adjusting to the pro game.
Hes a stud, a star, and dawg whatever you want to call him, he’s him.

The defense is the worry, both theirs and ours.
If we let them dictate a JSN vs MJ matchup, they’re gonna take the top off the defense. That kid is scary good and Darnold has the arm to fling it. Our pass rush is going to have a big say in our success or failure.
-
Sam Darnold is going to have to take a hot funny dump in his pants for us to win this game. Their defense is 100% legit.

I don’t understand what has happened to the Lions this year?
Apparently Ben Johnson calls better plays than Dan.

If we weren’t in contention I doubt they bring him back, but since we are, they did.
This makes 15 weeks since the injury. Let him practice this week, see how he responds. If he feels good, let him play week 18 at Tampa unless we manage to clench this week then you hold him for the playoffs.
(I had to re-read that several times because it’s so weird to be talking about holding out guys for the playoffs haha)

The original hope was that he was just raw, and with some coaching he could blossom into a big time playmaker.
Turns out he’s not just raw, he’s got no fundamentals or mentals of any kind really.
You keep him as long as he’s cheap and try your best to coach him up no matter how futile it may seem. When the time comes you cut him loose.

It’s usually easy to pick a favorite from our rookie class but this year I just can’t. Obviously TMac is living up to his top-10 selection and that’s great but there’s something about getting production from the mid-late rounds.
Toss in the UDFA kicking phenom and it’s a good day to be a Panthers fan.

For me he needs to do that this week so it is 16 games. Otherwise, asterisk.
As long as he cracks 1k more than once in his career, I’ll take it. 17 games or not.

TMac needs just 76 more yards to break 1k, and only 9 more than that to break the Panthers Rookie receiving yards record set by Kelvin Benjamin.
If he can haul in at least 45 yards in each of the next 2 games he’ll have it.

You can’t play half a season and win a season long award. It was a miracle Peppers won DROY after getting suspended the final 4 games.
In no way shape or form should that QB be in the conversation.
