  1. Whicj is exactly what I'm doing every time I see an errant throw or a ball that's so badly placed that slows down momentum (both of which I see a lot). And I'm not even talking "down the field" per sé. If he could hit T-Mac in stride on some intermediate passes, it would allow T-Mac to get markedly more YAC.
  2. T-MAC has a great catch radius and was known to make circus catches. Of course he's going to catch some badly placed balls, but even his his potential is suffering due to bad ball placement as is evidenced by his outward frustration with said terribly placed balls. As for zero desire to be in the NFL...you're going too far. That is your "truth," not X's. For you to say such a thing is ludicrous.
  3. I don't know that it beats Denny Green.
  4. Good points that some seem to be easily forgetting. As for Ladd, the best thing that happened to him was NOT being drafted by the Panthers.
  5. I read Graziano's interview. Some fans, particularly some Huddlers, may not be thinking about it, but analysts and execs are. Ostensibly, they don't believe that the Cards will be able to trade that contract, and they also think that there's no way the Cards will keep Kyler past the March deadline and pay an extra 20 mil (or so) and give money away.
  6. You're preaching to the choir about Ladd. People got upset when I posted the thread about our drafting error. Remember? Got plenty of , but hardly any. All I'm saying is that the Bryce effect is more profound than people may think. I gotta see X with someone else before I close the book on him.
  7. They're all in the same ballpark as far as targets, Marshall a little less, Mingo a little more, so no need for apologies, X is still arguably more productive. Targets aren't the greatest indicator though, and they're certainly not representative of an overall picture. Just saying.
  8. I mean, I don't know about realistic options that are "considerably better," but I do think that there are, perhaps, more intriguing options. I agree 100 percent about Bryce though. It may not be right from a win-loss perspective, but I'm over Bryce and don't wish to see for another season under any scenario.
  9. I think this is getting some wings because of Dan Graziano. He mentioned us kind of in passing in an interview. Murray will likely be released (not traded) in March with a post June 1 designation, as the contract is trade repellent.
  10. I haven't seen anyone suggesting trading a fourth, but if they are that's crazy. As far as "deemed not good enough [yada yada yada]," that doesn't move me. Stefanski is the one being foolish. There are loads of Browns fans that think Sanders should be (and should've been) playing. With what Dillon Gabriel (Stefanski's guy) has displayed, there is really no good reason to see what they have in Shedeur at this point. None.
  11. I might add, that I'm not the only one that sees McMillan's growing frustration. He's doing well, but he's being held back, just like every other receiver on the roster.
  12. Think what you want, but as was pointed out, when X was actually targeted, he caught nine of 11 balls. How that translates to being "clearly" a bust doesn't quite translate under the circumstances in my opinion. Again, Chris Lea in the other video, said X is getting open "a lot" if you actually study him on the All-22 video.
  13. I don't know that any receiver is completely blameless. Can't say much about a "Goober" vibe, because I think all of the guys in Raleigh that talk Panthers are much more on the money than anyone else, ESPN or not. Donnelly also played QB (can't remember the school), so he has some inside knowledge about this stuff. Donnelly, Dennis Cox and Chris Lea feel the pain and call the bullshit. Adam Gold isn't a fan, per sé, but he's just as analytical and criticalm
  14. We all have an idea of who's to blame for the failures of the passing game, but you're blaming the receivers too much. Some of us need to get real.
  15. Nothing is absolute, but the fact is is that Bryce is the QB. He's the only one that touches the ball nearly every single play. The offense flows through him (or not). There are degrees to this, and shades of truth and fiction, and everything in between, as to why there is failure between he and any receiver not named Tetairoa. And even Tetairoa is unfortunately getting some undue blame if you look what's happening on social media.
  16. Both can actually be true depending on style of play. My thing is, Bryce is not maximizing the skills of the players that we have. They could be so much more. I'm willing to bet that this will become apparent once circumstances change.
  17. I am referencing McMillan, but even he--anyone--can get very discouraged working with someone who isn't doing their job. If you're trying to be a team and have (for lack of a nicer word) a bum day in and day out affecting your work, and maybe even affecting it profoundly, at some point you're likely to just say, "fug it, it is what it is," and wonder what the damned point is. "Why am I working my ass off trying to carry this dude? No one really appreciates it. He's making me look bad..." Now I'm not saying it's right, and I'm not even saying that there aren't the types that will keep on pressing on, regardless, but what I am saying is that it's not exactly human nature to keep giving it your all in a totally fuged up situation. In regards to X, I can't---I'm talking me personally---get 100 percent mad at him or call him an absolute bust or lost cause, because of sub par play that isn't even in the neighborhood of actually meeting his strengths. Now I have been a little out on watching all the film I can (not that I have beaucoup access) just from being..."out," but if you listened to Chris Lea on the vid, he emphasized that X is getting open "a lot," intimating of course that Bryce isn't getting the ball to him. I've also seen another vid about how Bryce seems to be locking on to T-Mac (or the check-down option). Assuming these guys are right, then anyone should be able to understand why Legette is discouraged, even if they don't agree with how he's reacting to it. All that being said, again, even old dogs get tired. Until we get a new QB, it's a little rich to be giving up on our skill position players. I have noticed that there have been disagreements about ball placement, effort, and whether a ball was catchable a lot by Huddlers, and all I have to say is that this shouldn't be well into Bryce Young's third year. We seem to be nitpicking and disagreeing about things of that nature, and it all comes down to the QB being the wrong answer for this offense.
  18. Signing an old retread to be the starter is about as uninspiring as watching paint dry. You have a true QB competition and let the chips fall where they may.
  19. Well, since no one has posted it...
  20. I agree somewhat, but there aren't any solid options, at least in my mind, so...
