  1. Yeah, I would consider trading Thielen as well. I have a feeling they wont considering they just gave him a pay bump. I would hang on to Renfrow, because he’s can essentially replace Thielen as the old reliable WR (who is retiring after this year anyway).
  2. Honestly, let’s dangle David Moore (who probably wont make the team) as trade bait for a ILB to a WR needy team. Nothing to lose. No way you give up Coker for one.
  3. Giving up a young promising player in his 2nd year on a cheap contract for a guy on an expiring contract whose current team doesn’t seem to want long term is dumb idea. We could honestly give up a lot less for him if you want him so badly.
  4. I swear Canales won’t say a bad thing about anybody. He loves em all.
  5. Is Icky in the discussion as being a top-tier LT? I know he had rough rookie year, but improved last season. Unless he grows into a top-tier LT, why would we pay him as such?
  6. I wonder if we even made a phone call. We are not deep at LB and 4 million isn’t that much for a starter these days. Heck, he might of taken less to come home.
  7. I’m not sure Jewell is better than Pratt at this point. Jewell is under contract for another year, but his cap hit being what it is, I think this is his last year with us. Pratt could replace him.
  8. He’s also from High Point. Bring him home!
  9. Released by the Bengals today. Went to NC State. Would be good addition to LB core. Why not?
  10. I think he takes a step forward this year, but I don’t see him putting up big numbers. He’s going to split time with Tremble, so don’t expect him to get a featured TE type season.
  11. The good news is most of our impending free agents aren’t back breakers if we lost them. The top tier of them are past their prime or near retirement. The rest can be easily replaced or they wouldn’t be too expensive to bring back.
  12. I was wondering when this was going to get done. He’s nothing special but gets the job done as a 4th or 5th option. That said, we need to draft a receiver with our 1st or 2nd round pick. There’s no one worth overpaying in free agency right now who is going to really move the needle for us. Can’t walk in the season with same group as last year.
  13. The intent behind the question wasn’t bad, it’s just how he framed the question was kinda goofy. I’m surprised people like him can do media professionally when they aren’t good public speakers. I wonder what he gets paid to do this.
  14. My guess is this is almost like a restructure. This moves probably frees up some cap space this season, but he gets a little bump while while taking the cap hit down the road.
  15. Good pick-up. Defense has been in need of total makeover and this guy doesn’t break the bank.
  16. No, lol. For several reasons. First, the 9ers won’t trade him since they already traded Deebo. Secondly, his contract is bonkers and the assets needed to acquire him would be way too much for a currently injured receiver. He is good, just not worth the trade. We’re better off using our 8 pick on the best WR available in the draft.
  17. Some of these contracts teams are shelling out for mid level players are bonkers. This is why we need to focus on building through the draft with the cap space we have left.
  18. Wonder if this means we cut Clowney or Wonnum. Hope we keep both.
  19. We can’t afford to trade assets and then shell out big money contracts. We have a lot of needs and the draft is the best way to address them with the cap space we have. We’re not a couple players away from contending.
  20. Agreed. Wonnum, Clowney, and Robinson were only impact lineman from last season. Not sure how you justify cutting them. There is no depth behind them. They should be in line for restructures. With Brown returning they should all improve. Tuttle on the other hand provides no value. Chalk him up as another free argent bust. He needs to go. We need to add to the line via draft since we already have enough veterans.
