  1. i'm really liking corum and estime. both guys that know how to get into the end zone. especially corum. ray davis is up there as well. braelon allen would be good just for shear power.
  2. it's overrated. grow your hair long and they don't notice the ear hair so much. btw, it's little more painful than you'd think not as bad as yanking nose hair, but still not a great feeling. will wake you up when you're tired and trying to drive, though.
  3. agreed. i think if we trade back we might end up taking an RB. one thing i completely believe is that we absolutely should not go into next season without a power back of some kind.
  4. lol what a nut. what a frikkin' nut. and it doesn't surprise me.
  5. there's this part of me that isn't really loving the CBs, mainly because the WRs have been so great. Is it partly because the CBs in college haven't been that good? i find myself just avoiding CBs unless it's late in the draft. OL looks good in this class, but i really don't want to miss out on offensive play makers. we need them badly. if anything i want to overload in that direction.
  6. Wow. Thanks for being a part of it all. RIP
  7. The only other thing i want in this draft (other than offensive play makers) is an edge rusher to either put on the other side or replace him if we don't keep him. We can get a good one with our first or second pick and still load up in offensive play makers.
  8. There's about 5-7 WRs I am totally cool taking about that point after the top 5 WRs are taken off the board. I'm hoping that we can trade back and pick one of them up. But there's also about 10-15 that if we got 2-3 of them I would be giddy with. I would like us to do nothing but play makers this year. 2-3 WRs, a TE, and a big workhorse RB. Gimme these guys. I feel like we're always going to feel like we can do better than the guys we pick. There's always going to be arguments for and against them and someone guaranteed to bitch about the picks (these experts we have in here). For me it's not really could we have picked someone better, it's "did we make the team better than it was?" Imo, we're going to have to work hard to screw this up (making the team better). The unfortunate thing is we've got plenty of practice fugging things up. I just hope we've learned something.
  9. I like Jermaine Burton a lot. Apparently he can be a bit of a punk, but the guy has a lot of talent a d I think he's a bit underrated in this draft. Would be nice to get him, especially if he had any kind of rapport with BY before. Could be that buddy connection with a WR that every QB needs
  10. Good point. Still don't think he's coming here, but he'll move the goal posts to fit whatever he wants at the moment. He'll probably have to wait till after the draft, though. Whoever doesn't score big time in this WR draft class will come knocking. You have to think that a class like this will dilute his value a bit. It also means that while he and Tee might get astronomically large contacts, this will be the last year we see WR contacts like that except for the most poorly run organizations. If future WR classes are anything like this year's class, WR could end up being like RB has become.
  11. I'll just say this....if he's the pick at 33 I won't be upset.
  12. I think this would work
  13. It is a shock Congrats on being the internet champion for a day
  14. I meant as a mod I hate the title. Means people will be reporting it like they do half of @TheSpecialJuan threads. Other than that I've got no issues. I think it would actually work out and I don't think the height issue is what people make it out to be
  15. I hate the title. Wouldnt like it at 33, but I would like him later.
  16. gonna have to listen to that when i've got a LOT more time i do want to listen to it, though.
  17. i don't think he cares if his stock goes down. he doesn't want to play for a bottom feeding team. that's what it all boils down to.
  18. i see us going either WR or EDGE at 33. Possibly TE if it's Ja'Tavion Sanders. i want us to get a pass catcher there, but i think we can go for an EDGE there and still come away with a couple really good pass catchers. we can also trade back a bit, pick up an extra pick or two, and still walk away with a really good WR or two. this class is just stacked.
  19. Add quality depth on OL (3-4), including vet competition for the interior OL. Add a vet WR (Ridley or Marquis Brown - cost effective and an upgrade from what we've had) Add a vet TE like Dalton Schultz or Gerald Everette (both moderately priced and would be a big help for the QB) Draft 2 WRs (pref. a slot guy and a deep threat) Draft a big bruiser RB (220+ lbs with good hands). Have a scheme that incorporates a blocking scheme that more closely resembles what we had when wilks was here (and the OL looked pretty good) more than that poo show we had last year. Be run heavy to take pressure off the passing game and BY and give him and the coaching staff a chance to show what he can do. all rookies have to have a solid run game and he never had one. i know no one wants to play this game so please excuse me while i play it....i'm going to look at this year as his rookie year. last year was so fugged up in every regard. really a horrible situation for a rookie QB to fall into. yes, a lot of it was his fault, but he should have had grown ups coaching instead he had a bunch of kids running around with pool noodles chasing each other around trying to smack each other on the head. he/we deserve a reset to see if it was a mistake to choose him as the franchise guy. new HC/staff and a "new" QB. that's all my opinion. please dismiss it as nothing more than a fart in the wind.
  20. Cliff notes. Situation is bleak. Bryce looked bad. Only hope there is for us is that other QBs have looked horrible their rookie year and turned it around. Doesn't mean it will, just that it could happen. Add Ridley And Dalton Schultz in FA. Draft Adonai Mitchell if he's there. Let Mungo be your number 4 on the depth chart deep threat. OL wasn't as bad as it was last year. Bad scheme for them and Reich may just be bad for OLs. Look for OG help in FA and maybe uprade OC and we're heading in the right direction. That was about it.
