Ace Bailey by all accounts is also a great teammate and hard worker, btw, who was drafted by a team he supposedly didn’t want to go to yet he immediately bought in.
You mean the guy who hasn't shown up to Utah yet and whose camp has had "minimal contact" with the team since draft night? That's immediately buying in?

June hype doesn't always lead to a September roster spot, though.

both had a common theme though (loudly discussed here going into both seasons), unusually light work going into both seasons given what he was.....
again, Mahomes, Allen, etc were getting more preseason reps than Young.
I hope Canales plays him a lot in this preseason. 3 good NFL games vs the rest of his resume shouldn't put him in the light work tier he has been going into prior seasons with
To be fair, your definition of "good NFL game" varies from QB to QB.

The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.
I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.
The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
I'm more of the mind that Rhule, in his infinite wisdom, sat McCaffrey when he was healthy so he'd have a built-in excuse that'd buy him another year. I feel pretty convinced of this as well.

I don't really care what Youtubers think. Young will either resemble Weeks 1-2 more, or Weeks 14-18 more. We don't know yet. Probably a mix of both would be my guess.

only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'
The only people shouting "Super Bowl" were Bills fans.

Group ticket packages to the Super Bowl are cheaper than individual ones, so a group of 53 should get to watch it for a good price.

Not surprised at all. Good luck to him.

I met him after a game on my 16th birthday. He stopped and signed for maybe three people total, and I was one of the lucky ones. Didn't say much, I said "thank you," and he nodded and walked off.

I remember, I think it was Damione Lewis, saying "When you first meet him, you think to yourself "He might be a little off". After you work with him, spend time with him and get to know him though, you say, "Yeah, he's a little off"
Those people are great assets, particularly when they're defensive players, as long as you can keep them contained. But they're crazy for a reason and they're seldom able to be contained for longer than, let's see, 4.1 seasons.

Freddie Andersen is Hockey Andy Dalton.

I'm not impressed. Scottie didn't even win enough to get a division title last year.

You don't touch Knueppel at #4. It will be either Bailey"if 76ers take VJ", VJ or Tre and that's the list.
No, it will be a raw 6'7" 17-year-old European who just played basketball for the first time in March and who the idiot GM "had first on our board." He'll play the whole G-League season, get in 42 games for the Hornets and average 1.1 ppg on 35% shooting. Been there, seen that.

Vets aren't in any hurry to sign and teams want to see younger guys in OTAs first anyway.
Not signing a guy today by no means indicates they won't sign someone before TC
I'm not advocating for it today, I'm discussing it just as an overall decision.

I don’t understand why any GM would just sit tight at ANY position and not at least try to improve it within the constraints of the cap. The teams who do that kind of stuff are the ones who you see play in January and February. The hornets-style “kick the can down the road for 35 years” teams are always losers.

I thought she was the AD. So did she.

I don't know that they won't regret that decision.
