Agree with most of this but I think Boykin will make the team, over Todman. Maybe Mayo instead of Klein?

He's making the damn roster folks.
CAP and Wegher are the perfect (cheap, effective, hungry, talented) backs for the future.
Gettleman getting the most out of his dime, will not be paying this kind of cash for older, injury prone backs. When cap space feasible, were going young and cheap. Getts has shown, just in this year, how much talent he can rake in out of a 5th round Comp and a UDFA signing!! With Getts with his mind years in advance, Weghers making the team.
Talking about backs of course. I love Stew and Tolbert, but theyve had their time and their dime! Ill ask this, would you see any drop in production in the run game if we were to replace Tolbert and Stew with Ward, CAP, and Wegher? I dont, and its at an 1/8th of the price probably. Call me a retard but theres value right fugin there and that money could be used elsewhere.
Boom.
You're trying to compare running backs who have never played a single regular season game in the NFL with 2 established players. You can't just dismiss the work Stewart put in the last half of last season. I believe CAP will be a stud one day but right now those 3 are no where near J stew.

Would you say Brown is basically a lock to make the roster at this point? Its been sounding that way based on your reports.

If anyone actually believes that Tolbert should be cut for this unproven undrafted guy... then you probably believed McNutt could be a #1.

Gotta go Patriots and the Seahawks in the NFCC game

Great stuff. No idea how I'm going to deal with reading all these positive posts during the off season when we all have 3 months or so until real football. Getting way too pumped up over here.
I think its safe to say we all are.

I think the majority of the board doesn't believe that j stew is soft. His playing style is the exact opposite of soft.

I'm pretty confident however there are a lot of IFS for this team. If Oher can step in and be a solid LT, j stew can manage to stay healthy for the whole season, and Funchess produces like were all expecting him to I don't see why we can't win at least 12 games. Worst case scenario I see us going 9-7 or 10-6. Its time guys, we're gonna be real.

Pie for your efforts.
I would hope that at the very least, we could all agree, minus the few morons, that our franchise is lucky to have him.
As a resident of NC, like many others on this board I'm sure, you won't believe how many redneck Panther's fans I've ran into that truly believe DA is the better qb and should be the starter. Most of the time its because they believe Cam is too "dumb" to be a qb. So much ignorance.

Right here is another true "lifelong".
When you can't recall our SB but are a fan...you ain't going nowhere.
Yep, and as you can see I've had an account since '08 and I used to make some really dumb posts back then as a 12 year old. I've been lurking for a while but I feel its about time I start putting in some input.

20 years old, born overseas but was raised and have lived in NC since the age of 2. I didn't grow up in a football watching family but started watching the Panthers the season we had Vinny Testaverde. I think the first game I watched was the one where we beat the Cardinals and have been a die hard fan since. I remember in 3rd grade kids coming to school super pissed the day after we lost to the Patriots in the super bowl and I didn't even know what the super bowl was then. Kinda glad I didn't haha.
