I don't have the time or energy to respond to all of the casuals but yes, if you cannot sit back and root for your team and the players on your team, you're a casual to me. You're caught up in things like jerseys, star power, stats, etc. Plain and simple, if you don't want to be happy after your team wins and you wanna nitpick every player, coach, decision over something you have absolutely no control over, do you boo.
Contrarily, I am such a huge fan that I have been cushioning the blows of my teams losses for years. If I bet the other side, it's a win win. I literally just paid for my tickets behind home plate in the world series watching my dodgers win again because I previously bet on the Blue Jays to beat them. The Jays won, I won a chunk of money and cushioned the blow, took the winnings and got incredible seats. I don't expect everyone to be able to understand this or afford this life style, but it's just what I do. I already admitted to losing thousands on betting against the panthers, I already ate my crow, I'm a man and can admit when I am wrong, I can laugh at my self and not take things like sports so seriously. I will most likely keep adding the panthers opponents to some of my lottery parlays too. Sue me!

question for the casuals: if Bryce and the Panthers are so bad, what has you spending hours on a fan forum daily racking up tens of thousands of posts claiming the latter?

Mate, he's 11-27 as a starter, if you actually want to go there.
do you want to focus on Mayfield, Darnold, or Daniel Jones career records too or maybe just their current seasons?

Listen man. I don't want to be rude. But I have to be very direct here. You are not dealing in realities.
Here is the reality.
It took #1 overall pick Bryce Young who was billed as a generational ball distributor 19 starts to surpass UDFA Kyle Allen's passing yardage from 2019 over the course of 13 games.
Bryce Young is not favorably comparable to any other former Panthers QB expect Jimmy Clausen. It is what it is.

Let's play a new game, guess that team!
- QB from Alabama
- QB that people claim can't throw the ball
- Team with Free Agent Running Back doing the "heavy lifting"
- Team with winning record

Still better than Andy Dalton and just beat Jordan Love oh and beat Dak. Choose another team guys. Stop posting bull shyt each week.
it's so weird man. From what I am gathering, these casuals would rather be Bengals fans or Cowboys fans with a star QB and losing record than Bryce with a winning record.

The Bills would have still scored on our defense but Bryce would have absolutely played better and put us in a better position offensively than Dalton. If you can't admit that, then you are way too far gone and stuck on that hill to reckon with.

This is not even scratching the surface of how toxic broader social media is. Don't you frequent Twitter? No shameless grifting here.
We had a big upset win the week after we got taken to the woodshed by the Bills and our offense was largely willed by another historic perfomance from a running back we signed in free agency.
I mean if you expect nothing but people doing cartwheels and having parties you're probably just not built for this team. The biggest thing in the back of everyone's mind even if they won't admit it right now is this is still the Carolina Panthers and even when they play well we're still left waiting to wonder when not if they will lay another egg. If you lived through the Jake Delhomme era this shouldn't have to be explained.
Bryce wasn't playing against Buffalo.

I already ate my crow in this thread and said I lost money doing this. I still am too, I bet against them last week in my parlay. It counters the sting of an L sometimes, I don't expect a casual to understand.

bro you spend way too much time and energy on a fan forum for something that seems to displease and annoy you so much.

Saints lose arguably their best offensive player coming into Carolina.

I hate to break it to you…..but in the year 2025….the Panthers pass attack isn’t much more threatening or productive than Bryce’s rookie season.
yeah, give me Joe Burrow 8 days a week lol
it is a team sport. And you are highlighting the inverse. Naming non-weak links. Bryce is the weak link in Carolina and this season is probably the best evidence of it to date
TMac is one of the best young receiving targets and is just starting to scratch the service. Already a huge upgrade.
I don't think you understood my question, would you rather have an MVP QB that is constantly hurt due to shitty line play and having to play hero ball, missing the playoffs regularly or a game managing, point guard of QB that has you in the playoff hunt and is available and winning games.

Name of the game in Carolina to win is to minimize Bryce Young. See our wins. All of them. They tell a story.
Bryce Young accounts for 5 TDs as Panthers beat Falcons 44-38 in OT. Atlanta misses playoffs again

Its trolling. Not worth responding to. Midget had 100 yards passing and now he is Montana 2.0
it's not trolling and nobody is saying he is Montana 2.0, but to say he is not a contributing, winning NFL QB at the moment, is false.

Carolina being forced to actually let Bryce throw sometime doesn’t mean he isn’t horrible.
again, PJ Walker had a winning record in Carolina and a better highlight tape. PJ sucks.
Bryce Young is a bad NFL starting QB. The Carolina coaching staff basically is screaming it at the Bryce defenders. We play the game how we have to because of Bryce
once again, I just really can't value your opinion on this at all. I bet you believe in tanking too?

Not playing devils advocate. The staff clearly has recognized you have to take Bryce out of it and Rico is our best chance to win. That play illustrates it.
and all that window dressing most likely was not a Bryce Young original. But the thought process of a staff that knew Rico had to get the ball.
it’s the never ending search of trying to make Bryce look good.

That pass to XL was just trying to repeat the last TD to XL. Which really didn’t make sense even when it worked. Basically expecting XL to beat his man so badly that he can cross behind him??? Which is what happened when it worked. We got lucky when it worked IMO. Hate the design and ask of that playcall.
CRA be like "what wind?!"

I mean, most likely this 78th degree chess move…..was the coaches/playcall. Not some Bryce Young experiment.
coaches knew they wanted Rico and not Bryce to have the ball in their hands. So they went to great efforts to disguise it
it's become apparent that you are going to play devils advocate and assume the worse regarding Bryce no matter the example, so at this point your opinion is even more useless than it already was.

Bryce has flat out and consistently been one of the worst if not the worst starting QB in the NFL over the last 3 years. Anyone worse hasn’t played all 3 seasons.
We are having to play painfully archaic and safe football given he is our QB. It’s winning in spite of him being the QB almost every time we find a win
that’s just reality.
and Bryce is statistically, pretty much unchanged. And our wins are all on the back of Rico…..minus the Penix implosion. And Bryce did nothing that Atl game either
Bryce's first season he had a shitty coaching staff and shitty supporting cast. Last year he had a new coach, shitty supporting cast and no supporting cast. He's had his ups and downs but has shown that he can manage a game, make some great throws, run, do whatever it takes to win. Thank God football is a team sport because your QB should not have to single handedly win you games. The more time goes by, the more he looks like he understands his ability, what he excels at, what he doesn't do well, and he gets more comfortable and confident. He's got some new targets, some coaching stability, and the record is showing that. Hate to break it to you. Would you rather have Burrow who had an MVP season with no playoffs? TEAM SPORT. How about Burrow out hurt again because of his shitty team? Flacco who took over for him threw 4 TDs yesterday and lost. TEAM SPORT BRO! TEAM. SPORT.

Bryce has to be on Dan and Daves hotseat, fug Tepper hes just an owner. Let the fuging football guys decide. Bryce has had very little to do with our wins if we are being 100% honest.
Bryce is not on their hotseat at all. he was taken off that list last season after the way he played towards the end of the season and both of them stated that they "found their QB". He has a better record, stats and racked up more come back wins since then. he's getting a 5th year option for sure, no questions asked.

lol the fans that think Canales or Bryce are on the hot seat in any way are nuts. a frisky .500 football team will happily work for Tepper.

Another example of Bryce playing chess that casuals wouldn’t notice or appreciate
in Carolina Panthers
