Useless signing if you ask me. Guy has never been able to stay healthy other than one year.
Would rather take a flyer on an UDFA RB cuz this dude ain't it and never has been unfortunately.....

Exact same spot.....we had easily the LEAST TALENTED TEAM IN THE NFL!
Dalton maybe gets us one to two more wins tops. This team needed an overhaul and Morgan has started it

I think Chargers sneaked Colson from Morgan there

I knew I was going to love this draft when they cut to our draft room after XL pick and Dan Morgan walked immediately to Canales and not Tepper while he was standing there with his D in his hand

Keep 39 draft Brooks we would still have 142. We are the worst trading team.
But you don't have a 25 2nd ummm duh!

So we totally misread the board again. We are on the clock again in the third, and we are the only team to pick a RB, while passing on other great players in positions of need. So Panthers.
If he was there Cowboys were picking him all that means is no other team has a 2nd rd grade or higher on another RB

What have the dolphins won other than some regular season games?
They arent winning poo going against PM, Josh Allen, Burrow, etc.
Tua aint it.
To compete you need an Elite QB.
They hung 70 on and NFL defense without an Elite QB sooooo we were the worst scoring offense I have ever seen....
You still want to argue you JUST need an elite QB now of days?

The point is that workhorse backs are no longer a thing in the NFL. Loads are split and risks are hedged accordingly since each team carries a number of backs that all play.
That said, it is certainly better to have good backs than bad. I know nothing about this player and do feel Carolina has bigger needs but perhaps he truly is BPA
To compete in the NFL you need talent loaded at skill positions, hell look at Dolphins man! To compete you need game breakers and this guy has that written on him

Posters are acting like the NFL is littered with late rd work horse RBs....
Kyron Williams (UDFA) took a full off-season and still has a bit of an injury history
Pacheco (6th or 7th?) is in the best offense with arguably the best offense coach in NFL history
Jerome Ford (5th) Browns beast oline and again took a yr for him to compete as RB1 and even then they had to sign Hunt mid season when Chubb went down so he ain't a RB1
other than that what late rd baller RBs are people talking about here????

If we really want to see what we have in BY you got to surround him with talent...
Not just keep playing by the Defense wins championships mentality because it's a new NFL and if you don't know you better ask somebody

We need to immediately try and trade that Rams 2025 2nd to get back into the next 5 picks or so, while not giving up the 52nd we just got.
Maybe try to give up the 2 picks we just got to move back into the next 5 picks, get one of the players we could have taken here while also picking up 52 out of it.
I'd be ecstatic to do that right now.
If Morgan pulls that off and hits on pick I will personally fund a statue for him

Somewhere brought up
1 hour ago, Lame Duck said:I thought the whole time our RBs are weak. Sanders is meh and Hubbard is a great backup. Nothing helps a young QB like great RB. Brooks is 220lbs with soft hands, good speed and vision. He’s compared to Jamaal Charles a lot. Benson is a dark horse…. His vision is not great but he’s a nightmare in open field. Reminds me of Alvin Kamara.
Someone brought up a good point before too with Canales RBs always get fed in the receiving game. We definitely need someone to fill that spot, is Hubba or Sanders that?????
Doubtful
I just feel they wait a little longer than 2nd round to snag a RB......Brooks is a monster or a DOG so I'd be cool with it.

Cooper 100%. LB aren't valued as much nowadays but you NEED one. A legit sideline to sideline ILB can change the look of a defense over night.
Especially when we've had some great at that position including our current GM
Or CB definitely top graded talent still on the board

I think he can still go early even with the DUI. So I would be all for it. Too many holes to fill to pass on a guy with a mistake on his record.
With the past horrible draft classes we've had just take BPA n let's get this moving!

Who let this trash bot back in?

Although I like most of the moves so far, Morgan is going to need to CRUSH this draft if this team has any shot of being competitive and win more than 4 games

That's fine. I didn't like him initially and thought he was a waste of a draft pick. I was proven wrong. Which is fine by me
I respect you coppn to that. In today's "climate" that's pretty rare.....
CHEERS!

Wheres all the DB haters for yrs on this site needing to eat some CROW!
DB is a beast and anyone who thinks different doesn't have a clue.
Congrats and well deserved IMO Mr. Brown

I want us to double dip on ILB n go Cooper and try and snag Junior Colson out of Michigan as well.
Make it happen Morgan!

I's take the Ravens 1st and 4th this year and 3rd next year.
If this organization couldnt pull a 1st for CMC no way Burns gets traded for a 1st but if somehow you see that deal come across your desk you take it immediately!
-
Burns wouldnt last an off-season in Baltimores stingy, smash mouth defensive football. I dare them to trade him there.

Absolutely not.....The ONLY personnel this team should hold over is Evero getting a legit interview for HC the way he had this almost talentless defense playing with a horrendous offense. That guy got gold out of a turd, I want Evero as a HC

Nfl.com win projections based on schedule. Vegas odds lol
in Carolina Panthers

Im putting a hundo on them to win division just because the odds are that good......we more than likely won't but NFC South is really the ONLY division that's truly up for grabs
