That can't be Burns:

1) The guy actually slowed the progress. 

2) If it was Burns, he'd be racing past the runner, then past the QB.

It's an all out effort to raise his "D" grade to a D+

I can't tell if the ref in the tie-dye that shirt that keeps moving around them is Icky getting beat or Burns running another lap around a QB. . . 

NVM - I see him helping up the guy who went down - Icky had more "help up the guy I got knocked down" than anyone in recent memory

I would buy a ticket to one of the weekly meetings Tepper would have with him so Bill could glean from the owner's vast football knowledge.

The best case scenario we could find out about Morgan would be if he spoke against a generationally small pick at #1, banged the drum for Tank Dell in the second round, and his blood pressure  skyrocketed to stroke levels when they picked DJ Johnson (much less traded up).

Worst case, and probably more likely is Tepper knows he can use Morgan as his yes man/fall guy while he and Nicole continue to play house.

i.e., that's not been a good path either.  

I loved Dan as a player but it would seem that this inside info only confirms that he doesn't have the influence to persuade Tepper to avoid signing off on dumb decisions.  He may have "butted heads" but we still did dumb things.  

Without debating the Bryce decision, there are still the assets burned to MOVE UP to take busts like Matt Corral and DJ Johnson, never mind using a pick on a long snapper.

Think a lot of Dan too, but if he lacked the influence to talk people out of taking Matt Corral and DJ Johnson, let alone trading assets to move up to get them, he shouldn't stay either.
