What?
He’s giving you (or whoever) one example, which is the Jets. He’s telling you to use Google and calling you old because you didn’t already.

Scrubs I’ve never heard of, making plays all over the league. We suck.

I would imagine that Tepper gave him some general guidance as to whether to look to unload contracts where it makes sense.

I think this has a very simple and reasonable explanation. Tepper came from being a minority owner of the Steelers. The Steelers have more Super Bowl wins than any other franchise in the NFL, so arguably they are doing something right. The one thing that the Steelers do noticeably different from most other NFL franchises is fire head coaches very rarely. From 1969 to present, a span of 54 years, they have had 3 head coaches.
Given that, Tepper went into his first head coaching hire with the mentality of letting it play out fully. He did that. Tepper may prove to be a poor judge of coaching talent going forward, or it may be he just whiffed on his first one. The instinct not to fire quickly is fundamentally sound, but the flip side is you better get that hire right. So far he hasn't, but he's only done it once. Let's see how the second hire goes.
Reasonable thought? On the Huddle? I’ll be.

Do it. By the time we’re any good, he’ll be washed.

I keep seeing that we are interested. Any chance we trade Heyward and Rozier for him and then cut him? I don't want him dominating the Ball and hurting Melo's progression. Oubre could move into the starting rotation and maybe Bouknight, depending on the new coach.

- Barcello visited the Hornets on Monday, the team’s PR department tweets. The other prospects who joined him included Ron Artest III (KW Titans/Canada), Buddy Boeheim (Syracuse), Malcolm Cazalon (Mega Mozzart/Serbia), Christian Koloko (Arizona) and Kur Kuath (Marquette).

Turner was available before the February deadline, but the Pacers couldn’t work out a deal and the 26-year-old center’s season was ultimately cut short by a stress reaction in his left foot. Sources tell Fischer that the team is again considering trading Turner, who has a $17.5MM expiring contract for next season and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2023. Fischer states that the Hornets have interest in Turner and have let it be known that they’re willing to part with the 15th pick in next week’s draft. Fischer cites the Raptors and Knicks as other teams to watch.

Robbie Anderson could be targeted in Baker Mayfield trade. (Let hope. Sorry if already posted).

Brown needs more power and stoutness to his game. Not sure how leaning out accomplishes this
Possible. If he lost 10 pounds of fat and gained 5 pounds of muscle he should be better.

He will have an experienced OC and an improved offensive line. I would expect him to look better but not sure it will be a 'huge step'.

Maybe Rhule can fool DeShaun like he fooled Tepper. Maybe we can flip CMC for an online piece (Detroit maybe). Dunno.

So...anybody left who still buys the story that Rhule "couldn't wait" to coach Newton when he got here?
No. I'm sure he saw Cam's talent from prior seasons but I think he didn't want Cam's big personality getting in the way of the culture he was trying to build. He thought he could win with a Teddy Bridgewater or Sam Darnold. Once he realized he couldn't, he was willing to swallow his pride a little and give Cam a try. At that point he had his stamp on the organization (good or bad) and figured Cam wouldn't override him. Unfortunately, Cam doesn't have it anymore and they will both be gone soon.
