On offense, we've had some historically bad linemen. Our starting RBs however have been at least decent.

On defense, we've had some really historically bad safeties. Many to choose from there. Our LBs have been strong overall even since 95. Hard to choose the worst starters from our history. For the CBs, we've had a lot of backups start for a couple games due to injury. I didn't count those. I just counted those that were expected to start and were bad.

I dont give a poo about Hardy. But damn though. We franchise him, then he gets put on the exempt list and played one game.

Id much rather the NFL grant us that money in cap space that we payed him not to play. Otherwise, if he does sign with another team, they pay us that money back somehow in the form of pure cash or picks or something.

Just messed up he couldn't play because of the exempt list...but still gets paid and we lose that money as if throwing it out the window.

I asked about that in one of other 1,694 hardy threads, what about cap space? Panthers should get the option of a few million to be added to the roll over cap number. To me it seems fair.

Lastly,

I'm really hating this current panther offseason and with a realist view of the current FA class, its not going to get better. My hope is there will be cuts that will benefit the panthers.

Dwyer in arizona is another, but his deal seems worse. No clue how the NFL will rule this, the rice deal totally changed the way in which these matters are handled. 16 games in the prime of ones career, AND more....... thats damage.

Zod, I've seen many here blame roger/NFL for putting greg on the list, but didn't the panthers ask the NFL to do this?

Nothing wrong with bring in comp for remmers. Please look at what the current of Ts is; a canada goose, a DT, remmers whom was cut form 5 teams in two years....... maybe amini a second round bust that only played are LG. That's very very sad.

Panthers need about 4/5 Ts overall to compete with the current group.

Looks like p55 took over for me, ala solo supporting a OC. Mine was henning, but i like him before panthers hired him. I didn't have any issues with shula as a QB coach, but didn't care for his history as OC or HC. 2013 I had shula as a 7, but the before the season started I thought he'd do no better than a 4. 2014 he was a 4-5 rating, if only he didn't lose his balls at mid-field and upped his red zone TD scoring %...... you'd think with tolbert, stew, olsen, kev, and cam they'd have better success.

Who knows how much Offensive input RR, dave, and even jerryrich have come game day. I do know RR has a say in it, plus i dont know what type of feelings RR has formed during cams 4 year career. That first year was very rough, but cams come ALONGGGGG way. Plus its almost a given that all HC defensive coaches don't like to take risk and rather win by holding the points low than out scoring.

Lastly in the history of panthers, the fanbase has NEVER liked any OC.

I will state this, him being a failure as punt returner..... well it sucked on many levels. Poor old bersian was forced into the role and all that did was create a bell level hate for him form the fanbase. Panthers still need a punt returner, you know one that can take it the house, nice speed, and can make would be tacklers miss........ basically a corey brown clone that can catch a punt......

Enough crying, hes part of this super rookie class that has me........ hmmmmm just say the biggest improvement happens form year one to the week one season two. Plus cam and him seem to be bruhs...... plus hes on a UDFA contract too.

Again the ones in the FA pool will either be resigned or overpaid(more than likely). I'm far more interested cuts.

It was stated by all the CBs he was the hardest guy to cover, so poo on my opinion. Scouts calling him a brandon cooks clone. Hype train is here, but I'm not on it.

great ying and yang with sammy and zod. sammy has that...... well im not bashing that type of girl, but your calm monotone voice(plus you didnt allow her to take over the show with doing all the talking) offsets what she brings. great combo, please dont subject us to either solo. 

 

good first trip, maybe needs to be longer since the demand is up(that may change over time).
