The Beast has Wallace listed as 3rd LB behind Colson and Cooper.

Glad to see we are finally investing in our OL. It's been a need for years.

Jaun just brings us his genius. It's up to us to interpret it.

Apparently 6 years is not long enough for it to register that, for the football fans who watch this sort of show, the "ticketed events" we are interested in are football games. Personally, I couldn't care less about the events that caused us to rip up a grass field and make the playing field less safe for our players.
Maybe it will sink in in year 7. You know, Jay-Z and all.

Bernie Parmalee is coaching the RBs. Wonder what the snag is with Idzik.

He thanked Fitterer in his press conference for giving him the opportunity to come back to Charlotte. I thought it was interesting that he didn't thank him for mentoring, but maybe it's that he knew his audience.

First time head coach, qb fixer, and player caller is a lot on his plate. Dudes head is going to be spinning
This is why I hope Evero stays another year. Let Canales work on the offense this year and look to the defense next year.

Happy with this.

You can't enter the draft with 4-6 needs and think you are going to meet them. You are going to meet 2, maybe 3 needs. The Panthers simply have to determine what needs are realistically met at 39 and 93. I would say that there is more likelihood that we package 93 and 114 to move up to about 80 or so than to trade back and meet 4-5 needs.
In my view as of today (it changes), I would say the following:
1. QB
39. Edge
93. CB
I think they can take a flyer on a G at 114, but I just don't see the WR value anywhere in this draft. I think the are going to roll with what we have, hoping better OL and QB play will improve Marshall, Shenault, etc.
If they take a G at 39, he is a starter and they are determined to protect the QB (probably Young). Then they would move up to take a serviceable Edge and call it a day.
I like this. Just wish we could squeeze a TE in there somewhere.

If it takes 3 1sts to get up there, then you give up 3 1sts. F**k it
Again, your QB coach says this guy reminds him of Burrow. They better go get the guy. Chicago won’t mind going down to 9. There will be some great offensive playmakers available for them to choose from, as they need that bad.
To be fair, he said CJ physically reminded him of Burrow. Said that was before taking a deep dive into what he has between the ears and his personality and whatnot. CJ may or may not resemble Burrow as a complete work. Just food for thought before we place value on what we're going to have to give up for a QB.

Are they close? Why did he leave?
I read that Payton had a problem with ownership, although it seems that ownership would have a say in the trade compensation for his hiring so it may not be as easy as all that.

If we have to give up 2 1st rounders for Payton, no way. Our 2024 1st rounder will be hard enough to take, but beyond that and a lower rounder this year, tap me out.

I am slightly optimistic knowing that Fitt and Mrs Tepper are in the room. I'm hoping they have more of a BS meter than Tepper does. On the other hand, I don't know how much weight he will give their opinions so slightly optimistic sounds right.

According to him, he didn't draft anyone. It couldn't be on him.

It's hard not to come away from that feeling that Scott Fitterer has more trust than Matt Rhule at this point.
And I'm very happy about that.
